Speedy deletion nomination of Art of the Olympians
[edit]Hello Yogurtboy,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Art of the Olympians for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Arthistorian1977 (talk) 14:42, 8 September 2015 (UTC)

Flat Out (talk) 04:41, 2 November 2015 (UTC)AOTO photos
[edit]I added a picture of the AOTO. I have many others that would be copy vios to use (the art itself), but I do have some pics of displays that were there, like a bobsled, Olympic uniforms and things like shot puts. Let me know if you think they may help. Niteshift36 (talk) 16:54, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
- Um, the museum part is an important part of their history. That's mostly where they amassed the art in the first place. It was one of the few places in the US authorized to fly the Olympic flag. I put the building picture back into the article in the history section. Niteshift36 (talk) 14:59, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
- Apparently you have no interest in discussing anything. Niteshift36 (talk) 22:00, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
Apolgies I just saw this - AOTO is now a artist only entity. They are focusing on the connection between sport and art, the promotion of the Olympic and Paralympic athlete. They are no longer doing displays of equipment, etc. The picture of the museum is good in the history section , but AOTO continues and exists without the museum.
- I'm aware of what it currently is, but we're an encyclopedia, not a newspaper. We recognize the history involved in something. The years that it operated as a museum were significant to its history. I'll add what I feel is appropriate. Niteshift36 (talk) 22:28, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for December 25
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Roald Bradstock, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Olympian and Swimming. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
