Control copyright icon Hello Yodas henchman! Your additions to Rami Kazour have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Moneytrees🏝️Talk/CCI guide 03:22, 2 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Rami Kazour moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Rami Kazour, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Wikipedia is a place for factual information, not information that anyone particularly enjoys to talk about or likes. As a student I know for an unquestionable fact the many students current and former say that the school is racist. U.S.Grant1822 (talk) 00:22, 4 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Understandable, just if possible find references. Yodas henchman (talk) 00:23, 4 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there! I got your message. So I’m a little confused. While it is speculated that Take My Breath will appear on The Weeknd’s forthcoming album, it has not been confirmed by anyone. The tracklist has not been revealed yet. So exactly how is me removing it from the page disruptive editing? If it was a confirmed single, I would understand that, but that is not the case here. You are simply taking something that is speculation, and treating it as factual. 2601:48:8100:B6A0:E1C6:786F:6A4F:5AF3 (talk) 00:25, 4 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I would like you to add references to prove that it is real Yodas henchman (talk) 00:27, 4 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

To prove that what is real? I’m not saying that anything is real, I’m simply saying that the song has not been confirmed to be on the album yet, so we should not be acting like it has. 2601:48:8100:B6A0:E1C6:786F:6A4F:5AF3 (talk) 00:32, 4 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You don't understand that you need references to prove something upcoming, if it is not confirmed then no need to add it. Yodas henchman (talk) 00:34, 4 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Increase in warning level given

[edit]

Hello. Thanks for the help with vandalism reversion. Please increase warning levels after vandalism continues. For example, on User talk:113.185.79.132, I placed a level 2 warning. If they vandalize again, you should give a level 3 warning. And only use the 4im warning for bad BLP edits and/or personal attacks. More info: WP:Warning templates. Information icon Hello, I'm Yodas henchman. I noticed that you recently removed content from Porsche Panamericana without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Yodas henchman (talk) 03:57, 4 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you actually look at the edit I made, I deleted a repeated paragraph and some repeated formatting for the sidebar that someone edited into the article while trying to add stuff to the sidebar. No information was removed. From the wikipedia content removal page "A minor edit that removes one or more words or reduces the amount of text is not considered to be content removal at all, since it does not remove information. It is unlikely to be opposed, and need not be discussed in advance."

You Are What You Eat

[edit]

Hi Yoda’s henchman, I tried to make a change to the YAWYE page and I think you may have deleted it. I don’t really edit stuff on wiki usually but in this case I wanted to add that myself (Damon Pattison), Anna Richardson and Linda Brusasco created the series and I (not Anna) was the Executive Producer. All this information is freely available to double check via google and I thought it might be useful to add now as the new series begins tonight. Huge thanks. Damon 2A00:23C6:4C01:FE01:FC3D:3BC8:80BD:337A (talk) 19:47, 5 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Unrevert my edit

[edit]

Hi, I corrected an obvious typo (weird "toxic" instead of obvious "oxic"). I even took the time to check the source (just in case deep oceans somehow got toxic on top of getting oxic). But you didn't check anything and just reverted my edit, right?

No, I don't need to do anything. Wikipedia needs to remove the "edit" button though, just a time waster, can't even correct an obvious misleading typo.

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Request reason:

I did not even get a warning, none. No reason to block me. Yodas henchman (talk) 21:25, 11 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You are not entitled to warnings, particularly when violating WP:SOCK and WP:EVADE. Particularly when sockpuppet after sockpuppet after sockpuppet account has been blocked already. Yamla (talk) 21:35, 11 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
