I was improving and correcting that article in good faith by editing and removing all mistakes in it and perfecting it only, but other users are now disrupting my good faith edits and i want you to solve that problem for me and all other users on Wikipedia and I can't edit the Royal Challengers Bangalore article as it is corrupted now by other users also now. 2409:4072:711:5110:E8D4:CE98:141D:B304 (talk) 11:50, 23 October 2024 (UTC)

You've done a good job dealing with vandalism/LTA action. Good on you! Synorem (talk) 14:08, 25 October 2024 (UTC) |
Moving drafts
[edit]Hey, please do not move an article to the draft space just a minute after the article has been created. The draft space is for articles that no one is actively improving, so wait an hour before draftification.
And the article PurpleRP wasn't eligible at all because it could have been tagged for speedy deletion as it's obviously WP:G7, now that it's in the draft space and thus not checked for notability probably the draft will stay here for at least the next six months. Company page

I would like to setup a company page that is not promotional but informative. could I provide content for proofread. Thank you Job Kiprop Kwonyike (talk) 12:24, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
- If this is a company you have a connection to or are being paid to write an article about, you must make a WP:PAID disclosure on your user page. Your current user page appears to be a copyright violation, so you should replace that with your disclosure.
- Whether or not you have a conflict of interest, you should start creating a draft using the WP:Article Wizard. Once you've reached a point where you don't know how to make it better, you can submit it for review or ask for help at the help desk. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 15:41, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
- Add @Job Kiprop Kwonyike:. I failed to notice that asker was not asking own on talk page. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 02:11, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
Edit war. Disruptive behavior
[edit]Hi @YesI'mOnFire. This user is quite disruptive with his edits, he doesn't even take the time to read before undoing. I do not understand why he takes it so personally. 194.38.172.194 (talk) 16:15, 8 November 2024 (UTC)

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:40, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
Draftification
[edit]Hi, YesI'mOnFire! I noticed you moved Axe Brand Universal Oil to the draft space earlier today, noting that it was likely being edited by a blocked user. When draftifying an article, please make sure to look at the page history. If it has already been draftified and moved back to the main space, it should not be moved back to the draft space (per WP:DRAFTOBJECT) unless that decision is made via consensus at Articles for Deletion. Thank you! Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 13:27, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for informing me @Significa Liberdade! So should I nominate it for deletion or keep it there? Because I find this article pretty well worked out, even though the editor probably has COI and probably evading blocks. 🔥YesI'mOnFire🔥(ContainThisEmber?) 13:35, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- Do not nominate it for deletion unless you believe it is non-notable. If you believe the subject is notable, I think the best course of action would be to add a tag, such as {{COI}} and potentially {{POV}} if you think that applies. November 2024
[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Electoral performance of Aam Aadmi Party. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. – bradv 14:03, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hey @Bradv, so the article was already moved to a draft space, but the original contributor, Humormap, decided to paste the whole section continuously, so I decided to move the content to the draft space, where it was supposed to be in. Have I done anything wrong here?
- . 🔥YesI'mOnFire🔥(ContainThisEmber?) 14:07, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Bradv Seeing my watchlist here, I apologized for causing you trouble :( 🔥YesI'mOnFire🔥(ContainThisEmber?) 14:12, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, you need to move page using the "move" button, and not by copying and pasting the text. We need to keep the history intact for attribution purposes. I believe I have it all fixed now. – bradv 14:14, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: User:Africa4me/sandbox2
[edit]Hello YesI'mOnFire. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of User:Africa4me/sandbox2, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Drafting an article is a valid use of user space. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 14:56, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
