Your image upload
[edit]Did you take that shot yourself? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 17:08, 25 October 2012 (UTC)
- I took this from an open source inorder to improve the Hyderabad Page.
- Great. :) What's the source? Please tell me the website. Many thanks, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 12:45, 26 October 2012 (UTC)
- I see. Okay, at the bottom of that site it says "COPYRIGHT 2011 GREEPACKS ORG", so that image isn't free. You don't own it. Greenpacks owns it. Sorry, but I must request its deletion as a copyright violation. If you have any images that you own, that would be great. Thanks, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 13:21, 26 October 2012 (UTC)
Ok i ll delete it. :)

IMDb as a reference
[edit]Hi there, re: this edit, though you mean well, IMDb is not considered a reliable source by the Wikipedia community, because it is user-generated, just like Wikipedia, discussion forums, blogs, Twitter, etc. There are a few exceptions, but unless IMDb clearly labels information as verified (typically this is only for western film credits) we should avoid it. If you're curious to learn more, see our guidelines on user-generated content, and more broadly, our reliable sourcing guidelines. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 03:28, 9 January 2017 (UTC)
Re: this, I probably should have pointed you to WP:ICTF#Guidelines on sources. Filmibeat is generally not considered reliable for this sort of thing either. Sorry about that. I would stick to the major news outlets, since anything short of that is going to be problematic. Sites like Galaxy Reporter, Andhra Box Office, Onlookersmedia, Filmibeat, Indiaglitz, Koimoi, etc. are just not considered strong references. And frankly, even major sites like Indian Express/Financial Express sometimes do some really awful reporting, so everything is circumspect anyway. Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Hyderabad Metro Rail. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. — LeoFrank Talk 12:31, 29 April 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Janaswaram moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Janaswaram, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your draft article, Draft:Janaswaram
[edit]Hello, Yashu327. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Janaswaram".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

The article List of flyovers and under-passes in Hyderabad has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
A list of engineered constructions that fail WP:GEOFEAT is no more worthy of notability than the elements of the list. Caveat: If an editor can provide reliable sources that discuss these engineered constructions together (which I am not seeing in the present sources), then WP:NLIST may take precedence.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
