[edit]Hi, the recent edit you made to List of one-time characters from The Simpsons has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. [edit]Hello, I noticed that a lot of your edits are adding extended details to plots and couch gags. We are limited by WP:PLOT which says to keep things as brief as possible. You might be interested in helping out at The Simpsons wiki. It is similar to wikipedia, but has no restraints or notability guidelines, so pretty much anything Simpsons related can have a page there and you can add as much detail as you like. -- Scorpion0422 00:51, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

Hi, I reverted Ken Keeler because (a) the individual episode entries, both of which discuss the controversies, seem like better places to mention any criticism of Keeler and, (b) those entries currently describe and cite fan and Groening disapproval of episodes, not author. South Park censorship in syndication
[edit]Hi, I noticed that you've added a few items to South Park articles regarding censorship in syndication. You've added a lot and it's all unreferenced, just to let you know I'm thinking of moving it all to the talk page pending cites. Alastairward (talk) 08:14, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
Edits to "Porky's Duck Hunt"
[edit]Hi, recently you made an edit to the Porky's Duck Hunt article, reverting the title of a section from "Later versions" to "Censorship". I'm the one who originally changed the title *from* censorship, and my reasoning (as explained on Talk:Porky's Duck Hunt) is that "censorship" is defined as "The use of state or group power to control freedom of expression, such as passing laws to prevent media from being published or propagated". Quite clearly, while later versions of this cartoon were edited, the reason for the edits was not censorship (unless the original version had had Daffy performing a Nazi salute while doing unmentionable things to Bugs Bunny), but some other reason. This is why I changed the title originally, and why I undid your reversion of the title to "Censorship". If you feel that this is incorrect, then please feel free to add your own viewpoint to the talk page of "Porky's Duck Hunt" :) Xmoogle (talk) 02:54, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to The Springfield Connection, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Cirt (talk) 20:50, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

Copyright concern
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Nutcracker Nightmare article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.3 and later."
You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question at the "Help Desk". You can also leave a message on my talk page. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 22:52, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

Removal of Trivia and Cultural References from The Simpsons episode articles
[edit]Hi XuxiRawe22,
I don't believe that the complete removal of the Cultural References, Trivia, etc. for the Simpsons episode articles, such as Cultural References section from The Old Man and the "C" Student, is necessary. WP:TRIVIA says that:
Trivia sections should be avoided. If they must exist, they should in most cases be considered temporary, until a better method of presentation can be determined. Lists of miscellaneous information can be useful for developing a new article ... A better way to organize an article is to provide a logical grouping and ordering of facts that gives an integrated presentation, providing context and smooth transitions, whether in text, list, or table.
IMO, until a better way of presenting the information from those trivia sections can be found, all of those sections should stay intact for now, and that you should not be blatantly removing them. --FlyingPenguins (talk) 23:44, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
AGAIN, please stop removing this section. Faethon Ghost (talk) 01:06, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
AfD nomination of List of The Simpsons couch gags
[edit]An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is List of The Simpsons couch gags. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of The Simpsons couch gags. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:13, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

You are now a Reviewer
[edit]Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 18:45, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
