Chi
[edit]Please stop replacing the Greek chi with the Latin chi. As explained here, U+03C7, the Greek chi, is the one recommended in the Handbook of the IPA, pp. 171, 177 and the 2018 chart. U+AB53, the Latin chi, was added in Unicode as recently as 2014, so lots of devices still can't show it properly. If you still think it should be the Latin chi, open up a conversation at Talk:Voiceless uvular fricative or Help talk:IPA, per WP:BRD. Nardog (talk) 06:53, 9 November 2019 (UTC)

Wrong Futhorc Transliterations
[edit]You keep editing the transliterations given on the Anglo-Saxon Runes article, but your edits are all errors. For example, you erased ᛇ's standard transliteration "ï" and replaced it with "eo". That's not right. In Futhorc's transliteration system "eo" means ᛖᚩ. You don't seem to really understand what transliteration is, and you seem completely unfamiliar with the standard transliteration system runologists use for Futhorc. [edit]Re: this edit
While such projects are totally awesome, this encyclopedia focuses on secondary sources. I wouldn't mention fanmade projects unless a video game magazine talks about them in an article.

[edit]Hello, I'm CaptainEek. I noticed that you recently removed content from Suidlanders without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. [edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page Gender of God has an edit summary that appears to be inadequate, inaccurate, or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. Thank you. Remsense ‥ 论 15:00, 8 October 2024 (UTC)
