Oakland basketball head coaches

X96lee15, would you be up for creating three Oakland Golden Grizzlies men's basketball head coaches' articles to help get to at least four blue links on {{Oakland Golden Grizzlies men's basketball coach navbox}}? There is an initiative underway among the college basketball, football, and baseball projects to get at least four unique coaches' blue links on every coaching navbox in order to help meet the bare minimum requirement to satisfy the use of said navboxes (and to avoid potential TfD's). User:Corkythehornetfan has compiled a list of affected navboxes here. There are so many basketball coach articles to create I could use some help from editors who have a known proclivity toward a school. What do you say? Jrcla2 (talk) 16:11, 12 April 2016 (UTC)

I believe the information is factual, but it uses words and phrases that Wikipedia defindes as "WP:PEACOCK" and isn't written from a Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. Here are some examples:

• "Lourdes University is located in the charming suburban city"
• "Sylvania is noted for its gorgeous parks and active community."
• "Lourdes University offers an energized and rewarding student life experience."
• "The student newspaper The Vitruvian offers insightful articles on current events and topics"

I also posted on your talk page, but review the WP:COI guidelines too. Also worth noting that the majority of the references used in the article are from lourdes.edu, which is a primary resource. 2016 McDonald's All-American Boys Game images

Keep in mind that our readers could be looking at these as the main image for a few years. Records by Decade

Howdy, I just want to thank you for the nice feature on the Tigers seasons page listing their record and win percentage by decade. I'm a Tigers fan and have referred to that over the years but noticed that none of the other teams had a breakdown like that. Section blanking

Hi, regarding 2007 Backyard Brawl in which you removed a quantity of prose because it was not attributed, would it simply be possible to attribute the prose to "Wikipedia editors", as seen in an autogenerated citation? Especially seeing as some of the AfD comments are based upon the inclusion of the prose. Icebob99 (talk) 16:09, 28 November 2016 (UTC)

I don't believe so. I know you're not supposed to use other Wikipedia articles as references. And I suppose this isn't a referencing issue, it's an attribution issue. I know there are specific rules that are followed when merging articles that you need to be able to see who made the edits. Part of the reason why I removed a lot of the content was that there was nothing new since the previous AFD on the article. Since that was the case, the article could have been speedy deleted since it was a re-creation of an article already deleted (the other reason being no one responded to my talk page question about attribution and I wanted to spur discussion). — X96lee15 (talk) 16:25, 28 November 2016 (UTC)

12:00 pm vs noon college schedules

most schedules say 12:00 p.m......if you are that adamant about keeping the noon format, feel free to change all the other schedules that list 12:00 p.m. and change the format template. My plan is to keep moving forward with the 12:00 p.m. format unless the discussion on the college football page indicates otherwise. I'll start a discussion there, but my guess is the issue is so small, it probably won't get much attention, if at all.....I'll leave your page as is for now....Pvmoutside (talk) 04:55, 7 December 2016 (UTC)
