Proposed deletion of Caspar Goodrich

The article Caspar Goodrich has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability, was only a lieutenant. Though he had a ship named after him and his father, I don't see that conveying notability on him. See Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Military history#Notability question
