RE:Hey

I know, I was actually a bit discouraged by the cup, to be honest - that one guy in our pool had all the Simpsons articles, I think, and was kicking ass. I sort of drifted off for a while, keeping an eye on my watchlist and such, and I got inspired to start working on ROH tonight so I figured I'd get to it. Cheers, DoomsDay 02:56, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Lockdown 2009

I thought I would give you the courtesy to explain why I changed Bolt's name back. Nicknames are commonly used on the site (look how they list "Black Machismo" instead of "Jay Lethal"). WWE does the same thing with JBL [1] and usually MVP. TJ Spyke 04:01, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

I don't know what TNA called the match type last night (I don't have cable, so I have to wait a day and watch Raw/ECW/Impact on YouTube). If they call it a three-way dance, then fine. TJ Spyke 22:00, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Bound for Glory 06

Sorry man about the theme song for Bound for Glory 06. It had no source, so that's why I removed the theme song. But since TNA uploaded a video stating that Fozzy's song was the theme song for the event, it's correct. So again, sorry about that man. Save Us.Y2J 9:40, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I guess you're right. Are there any reliable sources for the theme song, so we can put it on the article? Save Us.Y2J 9:48, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

K, I'll leave you to it. Do you know how to archive talkpages? (because I think mine is long enough for it to be archived, and that's if you know how to archive talkpages) Save Us.Y2J 9:57, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

K, thanks man, it is rather simple (so now I'll know how to archive my talkpage in the future) Save Us.Y2J 10:05, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

My archive 2 is already taken, so I'll just put it onto Save_Us.Y2J/Archive 3. Your mistake (but everyone makes mistakes), and I'll fix it. No problem. Save Us.Y2J 10:10, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

k, when the sections get to 50 (or more) I'll move it to a new page. Save Us.Y2J 10:12, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

Do you want me to help you with any articles or anything? Save Us.Y2J 10:15, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

TNA Tag Team DYK

A list article is eligible for a DYK, but the character count does not include the table. It is also ineligble if the content is split from an existing article, as it isn't considered new. The lead section that you have written for the list appears to be neew, though, so it should be eligible. It is important to remember, though, that the hook nominated at T:TDYK must be something that is mentioned in the prose (mentioning it in the table is not sufficient). Off the top of my head, I'd probably go with "...that on two occasions, the TNA World Tag Team Championship has been held by individual wrestlers rather than tag teams?" You would have to add that information to the article prose as well, though. I hope this helps. Let me know if you need more. GaryColemanFan (talk) 04:28, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

Looks good. The only thing is that the hook needs to be sourced in the lead in order to qualify. GaryColemanFan (talk) 04:47, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
It would cover it for FLC, but for DYK it needs an inline citation. GaryColemanFan (talk) 04:49, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

Re: Project

I would be interested (as long as it's not ppvs, then forget it! :P) but I don't know how much time I'm going to have over the next few months. My exams in June are going to require smoe pretty serious studying, so I was expecting to basically log on once a day (maybe) to check mty talk page, some of pet articles, things like that. No heavy-duty work, 'cause I simply won't have time. It all depends on when you want to start this. ♥NiciVampireHeart08:36, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

Oh, I agree. Especially since his name seems to come up everything someone mentions "sterois" and "professional wrestling" in the same sentence. Shame I don't have time for a project now, but if I can, I'll definetly lend a hand where I can. ♥NiciVampireHeart09:06, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
Oh, for sure, for sure. Hmmm, FA. Ouch! The thought of it hurts already! I know, me and Blue are just like GAN machines at the moment! It's 'cause we've got WP:GT in mind, so we're churning them out. We never planned to work on The Bella Twins originally, but then they started managing Miz and Morrison, so we had to. *Sigh* Inconsiderate WWE. :) ♥NiciVampireHeart
No, they would be needed. They're under the managers section, so they need to be included unfortunately. It sucks, but then again, they're article was really easy to do, so... ♥NiciVampireHeart09:46, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
Hey, maybe mine will get reviewed soon! Hey, an FLC. Very nice! What's with all the FLC's all of a sudden? How many's that? Four? ♥NiciVampireHeart10:06, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
LOL. Maybe you should try working on our Final Battle then.... ♥NiciVampireHeart10:25, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

<--No, I know that, I meant the ROH ones aren't on the list. ♥NiciVampireHeart14:35, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

We'll see. :) ♥NiciVampireHeart16:13, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
He already knows! He's very pleased. ♥NiciVampireHeart16:17, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
I'm fine. I'm watching Fruits Basket, which is why I'm not editing much. ♥NiciVampireHeart16:21, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
Ah, but I'm in a sunshine, rainbows and lollipops kind of mood. Hey, check out the main page! My first DYK! ♥NiciVampireHeart16:27, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
I'm not wearing jeans. Try harder! ♥NiciVampireHeart16:37, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

<--Hmm, nope, still happy. Are you losing your touch? Yea, yea, I don't care. I'm still just pleased that I managed to get one DYK. I'm quite proud. ♥NiciVampireHeart16:43, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

Nope. Still nothing. Dude, your failing is quite epic. ♥NiciVampireHeart16:50, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
Better to be a whore than a slut. At least as a whore I get paid. ♥NiciVampireHeart16:54, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
I got slightly worried for a minute or two, but I'm in too much a happy mood to let it bother me. ♥NiciVampireHeart17:01, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
YAY! Well done Will! Nice job. :) ♥NiciVampireHeart07:02, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
Maybe. My problem is, even though it's the Easter holidays this week, I've got classes all day in Dublin, so I'm hardly going to be online. If my GANs do get reviewed, I'm probably not going to be able to fix the problems. *Sigh* ♥NiciVampireHeart07:22, 5 April 2009 (UTC)

<--Oh good! That'll make it easier. :) Hey question, has this and this aired yet? ♥NiciVampireHeart07:25, 5 April 2009 (UTC)

Thank you! :) Hey, answer my question! :P ^^ ♥NiciVampireHeart07:28, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
Ok, thanks. Yea, I've always felt sorry for Hyson. Too small to make an impact really. Shame. ♥NiciVampireHeart07:31, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
It's alright. Have you caught up yet, or would you like me to type slower? ♥NiciVampireHeart07:34, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
I agree. ♥NiciVampireHeart07:38, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
I've trying to write small answers and use small words so you don't get confused. ♥NiciVampireHeart07:43, 5 April 2009 (UTC)

<--Man, huh? ♥NiciVampireHeart06:08, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

Wow, that's slow! Yea, I was pretty pissed, but I saw it coming to be honest. I'm fairly pissed off about all the results, the only one that was right imo was 'Taker winning. Morrison and Mis should have won, Orton should have won, Jeff should have won, Edge should have reatined, Christian or MVP should have won MiTB. Then again, I wasn't really expecting great things from this WM, so... ♥NiciVampireHeart17:33, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

Thank you

I appriciate the offer and I'm sure I'll take you up on it at some point ;) I figured the WWE stuff gets more than enough attention so I put my focus on an often ignored part of wrestling and I'm actually finding it much, MUCH easier to get Reliable sources on Lucha Libre as it's often covered in newspapers and news sites (unexpected bonus!). As for Sean Waltman, I plan on doing some expansion on the AAA section, he's worked there for a few years and feel that it could be expanded. MPJ-DK (talk) 09:01, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

Oh the sources are more or less all in SPanish but thanks to 1 year of Spanish and various online translator tools I get by and they're valid even if they're not in English. There is one paper that has an online version that has a page on Lucha each day, history, results, titles, profiles etc. very helpful. I'd only work on AAA related sections of non-Mexican workers but still it's good to know. MPJ-DK (talk) 12:27, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

Re: Turning Point (2004)

Thanks. I'm trying to help clear out the backlog on GAC. :) The article looks really good so far, and I think this is going to be a quick and easy review. Why do you think a quality article like this was passed up for so long? Viriditas (talk) 09:28, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

Oh, cool. Thanks for giving me links to the other articles. Viriditas (talk) 09:37, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
Thanks. Listen, I probably won't start writing a review until late tomorrow some time, so don't expect to start answering any questions until then. I just wanted to tell you in case you were staying up late. :) I did take a look at the page history and didn't see any edit wars except for one revert by an anon, so I passed it as stable, and I checked out the image rationales, sources, and captions, which all look good, so I passed that as well. Viriditas (talk) 09:45, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
Oh, and you should just wait for me to add the "on hold" icon, since I'll add that when I need your input. I probably won't do that until I've completed the review anyway. Viriditas (talk) 09:48, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

Well, since you are up, I do have one question for right now, but it's off the record and not all that important to the GA review. Since you already use the cite template in the article, is there a reason you haven't used {{Cite video}} for the reference section? No big deal, but it would be consistent with the rest of the article. You wouldn't need to use <ref> tags, of course. Viriditas (talk) 09:57, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

Ok, thanks. I'm going to logoff now, but I'll try and start the review tomorrow. I don't see it taking more than five days, but who knows, we might be able to knock it out in three. Viriditas (talk) 10:17, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

Unrelated GA question: Are you going to add a brief summary of Turning Point (2004) to TNA Turning Point per WP:SS? Viriditas (talk) 11:49, 5 April 2009 (UTC)

Update: I started the review, but I'm nowhere near finished. I estimate that I will be completely finished by late Monday night or Tuesday, but if I'm free, I might be able to finish it up tomorrow night, but it depends on my free time. No need to do anything until then, but you are welcome to make changes or comment if you like. Ideally, I would want you to wait until I flip the "on hold" switch, as the review is still incomplete. Thanks. Viriditas (talk) 13:07, 5 April 2009 (UTC)

retirement?

I'm sorry to hear your decission to retire, I understand it but it's still a shame to see you driven away from something you obviously enjoy especially since not that many other people work on the non-WWE stuff. If you ever decide to come back gimme a line because I've got an excellent lead on TNA show related sources that you could probably get a lot of milage out of. I need to take a break from this for a few hours, but I should have it done tonight, and you should have your GA by tomorrow. :) Viriditas (talk) 02:05, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, dude. I'm on my cell phone, and I tapped edit only to have it rollback instead. :( Viriditas (talk) 05:33, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
Ok, I'm back. Once again, I apologize for the rollback, that's never happened to me before. Anyway, I should have the review completely done in the next two hours. Viriditas (talk) 09:00, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

Apologies

FL

Overall it looks good. I see a few prose problems, which I will get too after you complete one of my suggestions. Since this list has the # of defenses, you need to elaborate how ROH takes importance of that versus other wrestling promotions. You also need to state in the lead a summary of who has had the most defenses/least. There also a few formatting issues, but I will get to that after you write that out. Just notify me. ;)--Truco 15:55, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

I couldn't care less. This (if you read the bg notice at the top pf my page) is the time where my editing times disappears for the next two and a half months. I'll only be online to keep an eye on my favorite articles, any nominations I have and respond to talk page comments. No large scale editing or new nominations for me. Too busy. And OH MY GOD! What the hell? I agree with you though. If he wants to leave the project, let him and just hope he learsn better to stop commenting at the project talk page. Life's too short to hold grudges especially on wikipedia. Just ignore him, let him vent his rage/annoyance/whatever, and you keep churning ut the GAs, FLs, and FAs. ♥NiciVampireHeart10:09, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

My sincerest apologies. Well, you won't have to worry about that this time I suppose. Hmmm, maybe you'll do it then. ♥NiciVampireHeart13:44, 12 April 2009 (UTC)
LOL. I'd say I hope so, but I don't, though I'm not going to be online much either so... Hmmm, ah ha! Here we go... I hope you have a nice well deserved break, and then be back online so I can laugh when you fail miserably at our little fight to the death! How's that? :) ♥NiciVampireHeart13:53, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

Insane. Good luck, and goodbye. :) ♥NiciVampireHeart14:27, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

Bound For Glory

Have you tried it with the table of events at the top and then the description of each underneath, rather than vice versa? I imagine it'd look better. Tony2Times (talk) 00:10, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

The actual article, though the same applies to the subpage as that has the events table at the bottom rather than at the top too. Tony2Times (talk) 08:59, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
Yeah I think it's a good idea to make PPV articles actual articles more than just lists but I don't really know how much about GA and FA criteria so moving the table up to the top for easy navigation is my only suggestion. Oh and you seem to have missed out this year's star rating. I wonder if it's a good idea to just list them off though because by the time (if TNA can stay in business that long) BFG has ten events, it'll be very long. Perhaps it'd be better if you put the highest rating and the lowest rating so that people can see the scope; obviously if one year is dramatically lower than others then mention that. But can you imagine trying to do all that for WrestleMania or Starrcade? Also maybe put the infobox for each year (without the poster obviously) and that way you don't have to write the location &c for each year, you can just focus on the variety of matches. Tony2Times (talk) 15:58, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

Re: GA

No problem, it deserved it! Now, check out my question about the "scripted build" on the review page. I'm curious where you got that term from. Isn't it supposed to be "scripted buildup" or "scripted build-up"? Viriditas (talk) 02:00, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Heh, so you reverted my last change for no reason then? :) Viriditas (talk) 02:03, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Sometimes Amazon links have relevant info (usually not though). The Amazon link for Sacrifice only has the DVD cover and a very brief subscription. It didn't add anything to the article and seemed like spam. I honestly think it does fail WP:EL. I am not totally convinced about the In Demand link either, but that one isn't as spammy since no one is making money off of it (whereas people could be making money from the Amazon link). TJ Spyke 00:14, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
In fact, it specifically violates #1 and #5 of Wikipedia:External links#Links normally to be avoided. Are you gonna remove it or do you want me too? I am not trying to sound mean or arrogant or anything, just pointing out that the Amazon link can't be kept in. TJ Spyke 00:19, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
I wasn't aware ADD and ADHD were different, I thought ADHD was just a new term for for ADD. Anyways, I doubt anyone has read every single guideline ad policy (there are so many, and they change alot). TJ Spyke 00:25, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

You should have waited for me to respond to my original comments, its still not ready. But I guess I can't do anything about that now.--Truco 14:54, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

ROH World Championship

Yeah, on the title history page they call it the ROH Title. they also call the current version the "ROH World Title" and the ROH Pure Championship the "ROH Pure Title", it doesn't make them the official names. It was called the ROH Title for short but its official name was the ROH Championship. i would know, i own all but seven ROH shows. Nenog (talk) 04:11, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

Fine, i'll just cite it with the various dvds, since the title history page is used to title the history of the title, not what its called. Nenog (talk) 04:21, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

Not you're fault (besides I agree with what you said). Were you referring to all three of us as children, or just the other two? D.M.N. (talk) 07:57, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

Na, I don't. Doesn't matter. D.M.N. (talk) 08:05, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

Explain

This. Are you telling me that Wikipedia editors should all be minors? I fully disagree with that, we would have an encyclopedia from hell. And your last comment on DMN's page is exactly the comment that starts this crap up, again. Why do you insist on constantly making those comments and trying to butt in when your presence in the conversation is completely unnecessary.  iMatthew :  Chat  11:22, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

WrestleMania

A better idea might be to take everything in the matches section, and carry it over to User:IMatthew/WrestleMania XXV (just leave the MITB match alone there), because I'm sure if you do the cleanup in the main article, IP's will destroy it over a weeks time. If you do it in my sandbox, I plan on finishing it soon and merging it with the main article.  iMatthew :  Chat  14:18, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

ROH World Tag Team Championship

After The Prophecy defeated Bryan Danielson & Michael Modest at Unscripted they were award a trophy which Christopher Daniels mocked and Bryan Danielson subsequently destroyed. Another trophy was made and given to The Prophecy to represent the championship until they were given the first belts at Final Battle 2002 (December 28). The Prophecy lost the titles to AJ Styles & Amazing Red in March 2003, who used the original belts until they were given new ones at Night of the Grudges (June 14). These belts would be used until the spring of 2005. After BJ Whitmer & Jimmy Jacobs won the vacated titles at Best of American Super Juniors Tournament (April 2, 2005), they began using the current version of the belts at Manhattan Mayhem (May 7, 2005). Its fine, don't worry about it. :) I turned 19, which I'm pretty happy about. Alright, I made a note on my Blackberry and added your B-Day on it. :P Dude, call me Blue, I prefer the name. Dude, I'm older by one year. ;) Actually, you and Nici are the same age, so. I've got the Heath Ledger list at FLC, but its not doing well. I've got two articles at GAN, bound over a review soon. I have plans on nominating an article to FAC, as well, though I need a copy-editor first. Are you really going to leave? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 16:58, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, she's older by a month. :) I think the lead might need copy-editing, I'm not sure, I'm gonna wait and see what they say at the review. Man, I know I can't leave, cause I'm bound to come back. Maybe when I hit 21, I'll probably be less active. Yeah, I felt the same way. I felt to a point where I just wanted to get the hell out of here, but I got over it, and I'm still here. :) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 17:14, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
Yes, thank you. Well, I don't think drinking might be new at 21, if you know what I mean. :) Yeah, school always interferes with editing, but I can multi-task, a gift God gave me. Oh no, I should watch out for that vengeance, cause I can come with some judgment, then you will be unforgiven. :) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 17:30, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
No it wasn't, it was clever. :) I made you laugh. Jeez, I don't know what to say to that. God made me as a funny person, not smart, but funny. OMG, I would not compare myself to either Edge or Orton. I miss the "original" Orton character. I hate him as a "dark" person. Also, Edge is always like that, pissed off and stuff. That's some scary comparison[s]. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 17:47, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
Well, that's you. I don't like "dark" Orton, I don't find him attractive anymore, which is sad. :( Though, DiBiase does resemble him, in his younger years. Violence? I'm not into violence, but involving families, to me, is crossing the line. Actually, its probably the parties involved that want to go solo. I mean, HBK was asked that when he was a tag team with Marty Jannetty, he chose to star in singles competition, so I don't see how Vince is to blame. Also, I was actually sad that Miz and Morrison were disbanded, I shed a tear. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 18:02, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

If you withdraw the article and it's not just a mistake, then please remove the good article nomination from the article talk page as well. Thank you. Hekerui (talk) 21:33, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

You removed the article from WP:GAN but didn't change the article talk page. Now I see you replaced content on the talk page in the first place. Refrain from that nonsense. Hekerui (talk) 22:19, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
Here is what your account did. If you were hacked, change your password immediately and preserve the integrity of the account. Consider using the save login in the future. However, a nomination by deleting all talk page content is not cool either. Hekerui (talk) 22:30, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
I see, I overlooked the archive. But why did you delete your nomination from the GAN page and keep the nomination on the talkpage? Someone will think someone else accidentally deleted your nomination on the nominations page. Hekerui (talk) 22:33, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

I deleted the section because I was stupid. I just did a review for several hours, wanted to update the GA recent page, looked at your edit to check because you didn't write an edit summary, and I don't know why I then thought what I thought. Too many "show changes" buttons pushes or something. It's alright. Hekerui (talk) 22:52, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

Only the prose characters are counted toward DYK eligibility. Currently, it stands at 6160. Before the expansion, it was 1501. To be eligible, the prose would have to be increased to 7505. GaryColemanFan (talk) 22:36, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

The "The Rule" / other changes

While the rule is probably true (don't really feel like looking it up), in ROH "The" is a part of The Age of the Fall, The Backseat Boyz, The Boogie Knights, The Embassy, The Group, The Hangmen 3, The Outcast Killaz, The Prophecy, The Purists, The Resilience, The Rottweilers, The SAT, The Vulture Squad and The YRR (Carnage Crew, Christopher Street Connection, Havana Pitbulls, Kings of Wrestling and Ring Crew Express can go with or without). “The” is not a part of the Second City Saints and Briscoe Brothers (the one with “the” it is The Briscoes) just like its not a part of No Remorse Corps, nor is it a part of “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson. “The” is also not in the official title of Round Robin Challenge III. Don’t go by the past results page to get the name, go by the actual show itself (for reasons why, look up both the dvd and results for the show held on April 26, 2003 and tell me what the name is). Also, as far as the Ring Crew Express goes, they were never referred to in ROH by their full name, just as Dunn and Marcos. And does “Briscoe Brothers (Jay and Mark Briscoe)” really have to be written four times in one paragraph? Nenog (talk) 22:53, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

Re:

Yes?Truco 00:26, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

Well, the TNA one looks a bit shorter, not really an issue but I think with some rewording it can be expanded. For example, the X Division section needs to be reworded and written as if it were talking in past tense such as "The TNA X Division was established in so and so..then go on about the history..and how it works..Then in the creations section you can explain how and why it was created." I also don't really like the "pivotal moments" section header, can you not think of anything else? --Truco 02:01, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
You should really take my suggestion because its about the history, and then you can add about the Ultimate X match somewhere where it fits in the context. If you follow what I stated you wouldn't really need all those subsections either.--Truco 02:37, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
The X Division should still be under history. But other than that it looks good to me, once you expand and source it better.--Truco 03:04, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

Thanks

I forgot to tell you this. I would like to thankyou for archiving my talkpage (I could of done it by myself, but I didn't know how to). I guess everyone learns something new in there life. Later. Save Us.Y2J 21:20, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

K, I so feel like watching TNA Impact! right now :), but I gotta wait until Saturday nights. Save Us.Y2J 21:18, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

DYK nomination of TNA X Division Championship

Hello! Your submission of TNA X Division Championship at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and there still are some issues that may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! ~Itzjustdrama ? C 16:21, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

Qué piensa de estó? ChildofMidnight (talk) 01:42, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

I was asking what you thought about that article. Is the subject notable? Not sure if you're interested in the south of the border wrestling variety, but I thought I'd drop it your way just in case. ChildofMidnight (talk) 01:48, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

RE: block

Boredom really. I'm trying to find the most interesting block length; currently the record is held by "Planck time".  GARDEN  10:42, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

I can assure you I won't be getting drunk for several years (well, at least not until it's actually legal to drink :D )
As for the WikiCup, I think there was a very short discussion on the talk page, but I was not involved because I was on a break at the time. I believe it's in the archives (Archive 4?) if you want to see it, but it wasn't a big discussion.  GARDEN  10:52, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
Haha, yeah. I'm a bit younger so still time to decide :)
Well if there are any problems, there is a talkpage, although I believe the pages redirect anyway so the changes should be transparent.  GARDEN  11:06, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
Haha, yeah :) Good luck in the contest then! :D  GARDEN  11:20, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
Sure thing... :P  GARDEN  11:35, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

Re: Edwards

Thank you, and thank you! Oh, and thanks for the support at WP:GTC as well by the way! I know, I thought it was strange that he didn't have an article, so I thought I'd increase my tally at the stub reduction drive and get a DYK? at the same time. ♥NiciVampireHeart13:25, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

You should trying reading the newsletter! Yea, anything from April 10 on counts. Stub count has already gone down quite a bit actually. ♥NiciVampireHeart13:55, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
Yep. I check through it to make sure that I didn't miss anything before sending it out, so that I can correct in the next issues. ♥NiciVampireHeart14:03, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
I don't know! I don't have an account at playlist.com, so I couldn't listen to it. And I'm not going to create an account either. I'll probably never use the site, and I'm already a member of too many sites that I never visit... ♥NiciVampireHeart15:38, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
Well, the link you sent me takes me straight to a log-in page... ♥NiciVampireHeart15:57, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
*grins* Pretty good actually. Wikipedia's going fine, probably about to get my second GT, me 'n' Blue got Paul London and Brian Kendrick, MNM and Adam Birch up at GAN, and got Edwards up at DYK. Looking pretty good. Doesn't compare to your however-many FLCs, GANs, and DYKs, but whatever. ♥NiciVampireHeart16:17, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

<--Well, I thank you for the compliment, even if you are in an insane and laughing phase... Yea, me 'n' Blue just can't stop. Did you hear? We reckon by the end of the year we'll have 100 GAs between us! :P ♥NiciVampireHeart16:37, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

Well, we were joking Will... I don't make bets I think I'm gonna lose! ♥NiciVampireHeart19:08, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
I'm not gonna lose that bet Will. ♥NiciVampireHeart19:10, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
And out of the 130, how many are done? Just becuase you want to show me up, doesn't mean you can. ♥NiciVampireHeart19:22, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
Well, we'll see. That still leaves around 110 to go... tick, tock, tick, tock. ♥NiciVampireHeart19:30, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

Yes, I nominated it, but reread it and decided that it wasn't suitable, so I removed it from GAN, but forgot the talk page banner. Thanks, Genius101Guestbook 20:59, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

No, none taken. I know it definitely doesn't pass the criteria. Thanks, Genius101Guestbook 21:29, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

Watching FLCs

Yeah of course I'll keep an eye on them and keep the vandals out, no problemo. MPJ-DK (talk) 06:09, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

No problem. You really have improved. --Truco 14:38, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
Wow, good luck with that one. I think for one of my last projects, I want to take all WWE Draft articles to FL, and make a FT out of them.--Truco 14:45, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
Well I started working on it already, you can help me write the Aftermath section if you want?--Truco 15:19, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
  • In that section, try to explain the impact on the championships and how it split up tag teams. If you can also watch the videos on WWE.com for draft reactions, it would help. In addition to finding news about the ratings for Raw. Hmm. I'll try to check it out.--Truco 15:19, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

Tag Team Template

I was wondering if and when someone was gonna attempt that. I think the main problem is trying to cover every team's name. Similarly to how people are listed in other lists under the first name they won it , I think teams should only be listed under the first name they won it; or if they start without a team name and then come up with a team name then just that name. It's a bit much to have "Christian's Coalition/A.J. Styles and Tomko/The Angle Alliance (A.J. Styles and Tomko)" for one reign. Imagine how large it would look in a few years. Tony2Times (talk) 12:20, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

Oh no, I didn't mean for each person to be added individually; I agree that would be a bit odd. I mean that although a team name should be given where appropriate, only one name should be given per team so where you have "The TNA Front Line/Lethal Consequences (Jay Lethal and Consequences Creed)" there should only be one name outside of the paranthesis. What to call it is up for debate but I'd argue Lethal Consequences is more accurate the Front Line. Similarly for the Christian Coalition entry it might just be easier to put AJ Styles and Tomko or if you want a team name Christian's Coalition then their name in brackets. I wasn't watching TNA at the time, and I only half-watch Xplosion at the moment, but as far as I'm aware they won the belts as part of Christian's Coalition before defecting to The Angle Alliance right? So when they won the belts they were either CC or AJ Styles and Tomko, but certainly not The Angle Alliance. Tony2Times (talk) 21:34, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

Legit

Thanks, WillC, for your comments on that term. I am glad for you that you have never come into such conflicts but as of now the latest "legit"-hater has commented in the section and tries to make me the issue of the section instead of the word legit. He claims a longstanding consensus of which I have never heard. Could you please shed light on this, if you can? Thanks, Str1977 (talk) 18:43, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

April 2009

Yes, and it was agreed to put them in the table once the PPV started. Putting them all in the table makes it much, much easier to put in the right order when the match comes up. It is not OR anymore than the sloppy list is. If anything, we should put them in table format as soon as matches start getting announced (the same way we do for WWE PPV's and ROH PPV's). There is no reason not to be consistent, so starting with the Sacrifice PPV they will go in table format right away (and my warning was correct). TJ Spyke 01:20, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
Combination of being in a bad mood and being sick of going through this every single month with TNA PPVs. I see no reason why TNA PPV articles should be different from how we treat WWE and ROH PPV articles. I think we should be uniform in how we handle PPV articles. How they are handled doesn't matter to me, but it needs to be consistent for all of them. I thought we had agreed last month with Destination X that once the PPV started we would put all of the matches in table format (just keeping the numbers off until a match started). TJ Spyke 01:50, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
You are right in that I don't really care for the table. I do prefer bullet point list, but I realize the consensus is to list a table. I don't feel like arguing over this and think your compromise suggestion is good. I do wish others watched TNA too so more people would edit the articles (it makes me cringe when I think of how bad TNA PPV articles used to be due to almost no one editing or watching them). Friendly Advice

Listen, I know we've clashed on a few issues, but allow me to offer some friendly advice. Not everything has to be a giant defensive argument. You would win more people over with arguments if you didn't consistently resort to name-calling and overgeneralizing (i.e., the "you all want wrestling to be real" comment from a few weeks ago). Plus, if you're going to use stats to back up your argument (such as the WSX vs. ECW ratings issue), make sure you're right before you say it.

Bottom line -- You're not always right; I'm not always right. Some arguments will be won, and some will be lost. But there's that old catchphrase, "You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar." I guarantee you that people will start listening to and respecting you more if you just stopped being so ultra-defensive all the time. Present your argument, and yes...sometimes counter with another one. But it's okay to lose one once in awhile -- if you lose it gracefully, you'll earn a lot more respect in the future.

Again, just my two cents, and I'm honestly just trying to help out. --ECWAGuru (talk) 13:35, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, your inappropriate language on my talk page has been deleted. Highly unnecessary.--ECWAGuru (talk) 22:59, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
