Disambiguation link notification for April 20
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited FEMEN, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Saint Sophia Cathedral (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Dissolution of the Soviet Union
[edit]Hi Wllmevans. I tracked this edit down with the thought to identify the origin of an apparent date vandalism but you seem a steady editor. Still you made an important change with no explanation. I know the edit was a while ago but could you explain the change from 1990 to 1985. SlightSmile 20:43, 5 February 2014 (UTC)

Capital Punishment by Country - Dependencies
[edit]Hi Wllm, I was looking at wikipedia's definition Wikipedia:Country - A country is a region identified as a distinct entity in political geography. A country may be an independent sovereign state or one that is occupied by another state, as a non-sovereign or formerly sovereign political division, or a geographic region associated with sets of previously independent or differently associated peoples with distinct political characteristics."
Since dependencies are countries, they should be included in this chart, especially where the criminal code is different from the mother country. Otherwise he list is incomplete and deceptive. I will undo the deletions and revert the page in a few days, unles someone can come up with a good reason not to.
Would you be okay with this, or should we change the name of the page to Sovereign States? 24.108.58.1 (talk) 19:47, 23 December 2014 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution
[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Mir into List of human spaceflight programs. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. --Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 18:45, 1 January 2016 (UTC)

Interplanetary Transport System
[edit]Hello, Wllmevans! Thank you for your contributions. One or more of your recent edits to the page Interplanetary Transport System has some bits that did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and has been removed.
I too would like to see the approximate month of launch and landing for each aspirational jaunt to Mars, but have not seen that in a reliable source, and it wasn't in the source that was in the section. I too can calculate them from Mars/Earth info, but that would be synthesis; so I wait.
Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or in other media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

You're not providing edit summaries
[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history. Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks -Fnlayson (talk) 19:15, 29 March 2017 (UTC)
