[edit]Hi! I think that you can start moving your work over - there are directions on how to do this here. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:44, 26 March 2019 (UTC)
Hi User:Shalor, Between last night and this morning, an article with the same name as mine, 2018_NFC_Championship_Game_officiating_controversy, appeared on Wikipedia. According to the talk page, it was live since March 7, but I was unaware of it. The image on the live article also appeared in my Sandbox article this morning. Would you be able to help me figure out what happened? Also looping in User:Reagle.
Thanks! Wlefkovich (talk) 18:47, 26 March 2019 (UTC)
- I updated two of Wlefkovich links and will now investigate. -Reagle (talk) 20:16, 26 March 2019 (UTC)
- Wlefkovich, I can't speak to the image, but it does look like the mainspace article, started by User:EDG 543, grew organically. I think your prose in many sections is better. I recommend introducing yourself and your plan to port some of your content over from your sandbox on the article's talk page. -Reagle (talk) 20:22, 26 March 2019 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Parentpage/Subpage
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Parentpage/Subpage requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. JamesG5 (talk) 21:18, 29 March 2019 (UTC)
The article Wikipedia Reflection has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This appears to be personal thoughts/essay on how Wikipedia works, does not belong in main article space.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. JamesG5 (talk) 21:20, 29 March 2019 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Wikipedia Reflection
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Wikipedia Reflection requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.
If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
