[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Blair Cowan has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.myspace.com/kevinmcdermottmusic (matching the regex rule \bmyspace\.com).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 06:23, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
IDiscoveri
[edit]I was not the deleting admin (although I was involved in the process). Per your request, I have restored the article at User:WithdrawnVTJS/Idscoveri. It needs to be cleaned up to remove the copyright violations as soon as possible - please see WP:COPYVIO. The other major concern is to establish notability - please see WP:NN. Please show significant progress on cleaning this up in a week or it risks being deleted again as a copyvio. Please ask if you have questions, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 13:01, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for working on this, but I am afraid it still needs an awful lot of work. I am making comments at User talk:WithdrawnVTJS/Idscoveri so that anyone interested in improving the article can see them there. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 14:38, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
- There is a whole style to learn here - what can be included and what can't, how to cite, etc. It is a learning process - just keep at it and things will get better, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 04:44, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
- I see you have already moved it back. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 05:02, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (File:Idi_logo.JPG)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Idi_logo.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 10:45, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
Hey there WithdrawnVTJS, thank you for your contributions! I am a bot alerting you that Non-free files are not allowed in the user or talk-space. I removed some images that I found on User:WithdrawnVTJS/Idscoveri. In the future, please refrain from adding fair-use images to your user-space drafts or your talk page. See a log of images removed today here, shutoff the bot here and report errors here. Thank you, -- DASHBot (talk) 04:21, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
