Deletion discussion about Cambalache Interface Designer

[edit]

Hello Wiktorpyk, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Cambalache Interface Designer, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Cambalache Interface Designer.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Miminity}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

(Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Odysee, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. @Bbb23 This was recreated after you deleted a page under this name (log). Is the content the same? Thanks —Alalch E. 23:16, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Didn't compare, but I've deleted both as promotional.--Bbb23 (talk) 23:34, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

September 2024

[edit]

Information icon Hi Wiktorpyk! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at GNOME Core Applications that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. jlwoodwa (talk) 02:42, 14 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Disruptive editing

[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 03:37, 14 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Wiktorpyk,
You are free to improve Cambalache Interface Designer while it is being discussed at its AFD but don't do major changes like moving the page to different namespaces or turning the article into a redirect. Continued disruption could result in you being blocked from editing the article. I realize that you created this article but you have to let the AFD discussion continue uninterrupted. As I said, you can edit it to respond to comments made in the deletion discussion like improving the sources but you are an involved editor and you can not take actions that would, in effect, stop or close this discussion.
If you have questions about Wikipedia's deletion processes, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 03:42, 14 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Declined speedy deletion: GNOME Clocks

[edit]

Hi, Wiktorpyk! I wanted to let you know that I declined your G8 speedy deletion nomination of GNOME Clocks. A G8 deletion is appropriate when a page exists that depends on a non-exist page, such as a talk page without an article or a redirect that directs to a non-exist article. If you think that the target for GNOME Clocks is incorrect or you do not think the redirect is useful, you can nominate it as redirects for discussion. I hope that makes sense! Let me know if you have any questions. :) Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 22:21, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Odysee, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Online platform. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 07:56, 10 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The redirect CSSBuy has been listed at redirects for discussion to determine whether its use and function meets the redirect guidelines. Anyone, including you, is welcome to comment on this redirect at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2024 October 26 § CSSBuy until a consensus is reached.
