[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page IBM has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://i835.photobucket.com/albums/zz279/femaction/ibm/WatsonandHitler.jpg. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 08:32, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Foolish European Mothers
[edit]A tag has been placed on Foolish European Mothers, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ukexpat (talk) 16:24, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Foolish European Mothers
[edit]A tag has been placed on Foolish European Mothers requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

- To be clear, I did not remove your page, nor do I have the authority to do so. I simply flagged it for the attention of an administrator; if you have an issue with the deletion, take it up with one of them. Tsumetai (talk) 18:34, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 18:39, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
Suggestion
[edit]Please read WP:SPAM and WP:ORG. I suggest that you re-create the article in user space, ask for it it to be reviewed at WP:FEED, and take heed of the advice that you have been given here and at the New contributors' help page. – ukexpat (talk) 18:41, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
Please do not attack other editors, as you did here: User talk:Ukexpat. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. ukexpat (talk) 21:05, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
well the article is removed isnt it no use then having the wikimothers page then and i dont attack at all. simply stating the obvious. you are the one with the knife cutting the article out.
- Excuse me but accusing me of bias against the Irish because I am British is a personal attack. I tagged the article for deletion (it was subsequently deleted by an admin, twice) for the reasons that have been explained to you several times. – ukexpat (talk) 00:03, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
You asked about Foolish European Mothers on my talk page
[edit]I have not read the article that was deleted and I did not delete it. The person you need to ask is the nominator for the rationale for nomination, and the deleting admin for the reason they acceded to the request. I think you may wish to note several things, though:
- Your username appears to refer to a group. Wikipedia requires one user per username. Please read WP:Username
- You appear to be intimately involved with the article. This tends to be unwise. Please read WP:COI and WP:OWN
I know this is complex and I hope it is some small help for you. Wikipedia is not a gentle place and can be unfriendly. My advice would be to learn editing by making small edits to other articles and engaging in discussions with other editors before you consider working on creating new articles Fiddle Faddle (talk) 21:13, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
- Let me interject. I tagged the article for speedy deletion as it was too promotional in tone. I also offered advice as to how to fix the problem, and to provide references to establish notability. The page was re-created as a completely empty article and tagged for deletion as such. – ukexpat (talk) 00:00, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
Hello Timtrent, Yes I have made small edits before trying to create the article and went into discussions with editors. My work was not promotional at all, it was a human rights issue about child slavery, disappearances and child trade. Note that this was an article on many groups and plights but not an article on any movement that benefits from donations so the accusations Ukexpat makes are quite ridiculous. I had half a page of references underneath the article from the start and was advised to put references in the article and not underneath, so I put some references in the article instead and added a bit more to the plights of the victims. I never recreated the article. What was there stayed there. I was busy adding a human rights issue folder when the article got deleted. It took me a week to write what I had written so far and if anyone has saved a copy please put it up somewhere as it contains information and names of dozens of human rights groups and articles from TV and newspapers on the disappearance of children. To ukexpat: you seem to be intimately involved with promoting your country as a patriot on your page on an international site that is supposed to be impartial and equal to anyone. I mentionned Dublin as it is the HQ of the human rights movement in Europe. You should be aware that it is a European movement and however small, that even includes the Brittish involvement. You should be aware that it is a European movement and however small, that even includes the Brittish involvement. You forgot to delete the aricle on the Foolish Mothers of Plaza del Mayo running under the exact same terms on wiki.
- My strong advice is to pull back from pursuing a political agenda, and to avoid accusing other editors of things even if you believe them to be true.
- WIth regard to articles, Wikipedia does not care about truth, it cares about cited facts. You need to read and understand WP:Notability and WP:Verifiability followed by understanding what reliable sources are.
- The community here is made up of ordinary people who choose to make a hobby of editing the encyclopaedia. They care about Wikipedia, often passionately. They don[t care, often, about particular articles, not about particular editors except insofar as they become annoying. Do not become annoying, and learn to care about the project as a whole, not the niche articles that interest you.
- You might also benefit from reading WP:Soapbox.
- I have said before that this is not a gentle place. Like all wild animals you need to gain its trust. Once it trusts you then you will find life so much easier. So please pull your horns in and learn to be at peace with the community. Ask for the article you are attached to be to placed into your user space and work on it there. Your work has not ben lost, simply set aside into a place where only an admin can retrieve it. To get it back the swiftest route is to place the text {{adminhelp}} on this page in a new section, followed by the help you would like. Do not forget, please, to sign the request with ~~~~ which autimatically inserts your signature.
- I fear I can be very little additional help to you unless you take note of the best way to work here Fiddle Faddle (talk) 13:04, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
Thanx, Yes you are right. But I have no more time now to work on the project. But thanks for your wise words.
File copyright problem with File:Fem leaflet handed out page 1.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Fem leaflet handed out page 1.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 23:27, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
