AfC notification: Draft:Ku Klux Klan Honor Society has a new comment
[edit]Ku Klux Klan Honor Society draft
[edit]Hi! The draft is defnitely looking better with the new citations, but there's still some things uncited. For example, "In 1924, the emergence of a second group, Kappa Beta Lambda, which was explicitly affiliated with national Klan principles, prompted the original honor society to change its name to "Tumas."" where was this information from?
There is also some things that count as original research, such as "These groups reflect broader societal attitudes and the prevalence of systemic racism during that period." and "The existence of these honor societies at American universities highlights the pervasive culture of racial and religious bigotry that was casual and unexamined in its prevalence at the time." these make the article sound less like an encyclopedia article and more like an essay. Wikipedia is all about collecting what other people have said on a topic, rather than analysing the topic ourselves. -- NotCharizard 🗨 01:46, 20 April 2024 (UTC)

Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources as appropriate.
- Image use guidelines: In most scenarios, only freely licensed or public domain images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide may help with determining a file's elegibility.
