WikiProject Israel
[edit]Hi Wierzba! I'm not sure whether you watch the WikiProject Israel page, but recently we've had a discussion about the project as a whole, and unfortunately not many users participated. As you probably have an interest in WP Israel, please take a look. Thanks, Ynhockey (Talk) 14:00, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Ynhocky. Thanks for the ref, but I did notice your discussion and thought it would be inappropriate for me to take a stand on a project I am not involved with on a regular basis. I will continue to work on my fields of interest and contribute new articles. Wierzba (talk) 17:03, 22 October 2008 (UTC)

Givati
[edit]Sorry, but I have to disagree. Although it might be pronounced as such, the standard English way of writing גבעתי is Givati (see Givati Brigade) or, less commonly, Giv'ati. пﮟოьεԻ 57 16:42, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, fair point, I didn't realise the Hebrew spelling was different. I'll change it back then (but also FYI, the Knesset website gets some spellings horribly wrong, particularly with Arab MKs, so I wouldn't really trust it!). пﮟოьεԻ 57 09:26, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Wierzba! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 329 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
- Moshe Sanbar - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 05:30, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
Knesset members
[edit]Thanks - something that was on my to-do list for a long, long time! I must also thank yourself and Nudve for creating several of them too. пﮟოьεԻ 57 18:46, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Aleksandrs Mirskis. Our verifiability policy requires that all content be cited to a reliable source. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:17, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
The article Aleksandrs Mirskis has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. NW (Talk) 19:29, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of Victoria Ostrovsky-Cohen
[edit]The article Victoria Ostrovsky-Cohen has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (biographies) requirement. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back. Thank you,
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. [edit]Zusman Segalowicz moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Zusman Segalowicz, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. [edit]Your draft article, Draft:Zusman Segalowicz
[edit]Hello, Wierzba. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Zusman Segalowicz".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the {{db-afc}}
, {{db-draft}}
, or {{db-g13}}
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 03:28, 15 March 2021 (UTC)

Topol death date
[edit]Hi, sources I've seen say he died on Wednesday e.g. here. Do you have other sources? Blythwood (talk) 08:23, 9 March 2023 (UTC)
- Even in your link, it says "overnight", meaning March 9. It was on Wednesday March 8 that his family issued a press release saying he is in his last hours. The bulletins on his death were made at 6AM, on March 9. Wierzba (talk) 08:40, 9 March 2023 (UTC)
Categories
[edit]Hello. Regarding adding categories like this, I think you also need to add some detail to the article (which organisation they were chair of and when). If you don't, it's likely that the category will be removed at some point as there is no information in the article to back up its inclusion. Cheers, Number 57 05:20, 3 August 2023 (UTC)

BLAR of Roee Edan
[edit]Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. A page you created or have recently made significant changes to, Roee Edan, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for pages, so it has been blanked and redirected to Kfar Aza Massacre. Three typical reasons for this are that: (1) the article's subject appears to fail our notability guidelines; (2) the article is unsourced; or (3) the sources used in the article are unreliable. The page's history is preserved and it is possible to restore the article: If you believe that this page should remain included on Wikipedia or that this action was taken in error, then you may revert the edit that blanked and redirected the page.
Wikipedia:Your first article has more information about creating articles, and you may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. Dclemens1971 (talk) 13:28, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
