If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Manika Kaur requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. • Best practice is that, before you start the article, you should already have your sources lined up and be ready to present a strong assertion of the subject's significance. —C.Fred (talk) 13:57, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Manika Kaur

[edit]

Hello, Webkandi,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Manika Kaur should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Manika Kaur .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks, Swpbtalk 20:24, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm pleased you're considering my article for Manika Kaur. But am also baffled as to why it's being considered for deletion. Unless I've mis-read Youtube, the link here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4FMOpRSvHo does look like it has been viewed by over 4.5 million people. Seems a massive number, but I can only go on what I can see. Hope this helps resolve some issues. Webkandi (talk) 22:35, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
