Spyder Rodeo page; thanks!
[edit]Hey,
Thank you for your recent edits to the Spyder Rodeo article! I'm glad to see one of my original articles is being watched and checked for vandalism. I would suggest that you join the WikiProject Paintball, we need more good editors like you!
Thanks again, --RavenStorm 20:47, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
Spelling
[edit]Thanks for your spelling efforts, you hit a few of the pages I edit (all films). I'll watch loosly, er, loosely from now on. Not that I know anything about them, but, could a BOT help your efforts? Best wishes, Luigibob 06:52, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for your suggestion. Now I have access to AWB which can help me fix typos at a speed thousands of times faster than before! :) Warut (talk) 23:34, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
Silicon
[edit]I realise that I have forgoten to create an edit summary for my edits to silicon and others. As explaned in my reply to Pyrotec's message, I am infact removing my some of my own additions and modifying my other additions. I, Plasmic Physics am one and the same as the editor to whom the IP address 222.###.###.### belongs to. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Plasmic Physics (talk • contribs) 11:52, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
Quartz
[edit]Thanks so much for semi-protecting Quartz. :) Cheers, Warut (talk) 12:00, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
- My pleasure! Let me know if any other articles need protection, the vandal was persistant and was either using a dynamic ip address or had access to many physical computers. I've reported the abuse to BT Customer Security and they asked me for more info, which I just provided. Dreadstar † 16:55, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
Deego's edits
[edit]FYI: Relatively new User:Deego retored his frivolous notability tag to Theodore Gray, which you had removed. He has been adding a large number of frivolous advert and notability tags to mathematical-software related pages. I have raised the issue on the Mathematics project page. --Pleasantville (talk) 17:19, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know that I'm not alone in seeing Deego's tagging as inappropriate. Cheers, Warut (talk) 12:07, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
Taubman Sucks
[edit]Thank you so much for correcting "more then" to "more than" in the Taubman Sucks article. I can't believe that I wrote it that way, but a review of the article's history makes that conclusion inescapable [sigh]. HMishkoff (talk) 16:58, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
Thank You!
[edit]The TomStar81 Spelling Award | ||
Be it known to all members of Wikipedia that Warut has corrected my god-awful spelling on the page Iowa class battleship, and in doing so has made an important and very significant contribution to the Wikipedia community, thereby earning this TomStar81 Spelling Award and my deepest thanks. Keep up the good work! TomStar81 (Talk) 04:02, 1 March 2008 (UTC) |
Thanks for checking Sermons of Dean Swift. Ottava Rima (talk) 20:53, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
Helium article
[edit]Just out of interest, what was this [1] revert all about? Am I missing something important, it looks like a null edit to me. Thanks SpinningSpark 10:06, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
- Removing white spaces; see User talk:Mav#Hacked? for more info. Warut (talk) 10:16, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
not hacked
[edit]Those are index edits; I add those so I know that I've reviewed all the edits before. There is no need to revert whitespace but at the same time it does no harm. --mav (talk) 13:08, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
Arrow symbol in edit summary
[edit]How do you insert the → symbol in your edit summary? I'll look here for your response. Thanks! ∴ Therefore | talk 04:16, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
- Never mind -- apparently AWB does it for you automatically. Thanks! ∴ Therefore | talk 04:20, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
Wikipedia's Expert Peer Review process (or lack of such) for Science related articles
[edit]Hi - I posted the section with the same name on my talk page. Could you take part in discussion ? Thanks ARP Apovolot (talk) 20:59, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
You are now a Reviewer
[edit]Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged revisions, underwent a two-month trial which ended on 15 August 2010. Its continued use is still being discussed by the community, you are free to participate in such discussions. Many articles still have pending changes protection applied, however, and the ability to review pending changes continues to be of use.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under level 1 pending changes and edits made by non-reviewers to level 2 pending changes protected articles (usually high traffic articles). Pending changes was applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
For the guideline on reviewing, see Wikipedia:Reviewing. Being granted reviewer rights doesn't grant you status nor change how you can edit articles even with pending changes. The general help page on pending changes can be found here, and the general policy for the trial can be found here.
If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles 05:18, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
