Wikipedia’s healing potential for the world?

[edit]

I sincerely believe that Wikipedia has the potential to help work towards the healing of the world, both physically and psychologically. My edit here reflects my belief in this regarding at least some of the very real physical healing that Wikipedia is capable of assisting with.

On a psychological level, I believe that Wikipedia has the potential of providing a venue for the sharing and interaction of ideas and thoughts like no other human venue before it ever has. In short, I feel that Wikipedia does have the potential of being the true "sum of human knowledge," and also that in dealing with such a "sum," the whole may be far greater than merely the sum of its parts. I feel that it is quite an honor to be able to work together with each of my fellow editors here, working to make such potentials into realities.
