Adding reference to Wikipedia articles
[edit]Hello Walle637! Please do not forget to add references from reliable sources for the content you add to Wikipedia. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Adding a well formatted references is very easy to do.
- While editing any article or a wikipage, on the top of the edit window you will see a toolbar which says "cite" click on it
- Then click on "templates",
- Choose the most appropriate template and fill as many details as you can,
This will add a well formatted reference that would be helpful in case the website link (web URL) becomes inactive (dead/link rot) after some time. You can read more about it on Help:Edit toolbar or see this video File:RefTools.ogv. thanks and regards --DBigXray 09:18, 10 June 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Peter Thomas (announcer). Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. General Ization Talk 22:48, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Peter Thomas (announcer). This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. General Ization Talk 22:52, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Peter Thomas (announcer). General Ization Talk 22:56, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
- We do not determine death dates "according to Google". Both of the sources cited in the article for Thomas' date of death state he died on April 30, 2016. Your repeated insertion of incorrect information, contradicting cited sources and ignoring warnings, will cause you to be blocked from editing if it continues. Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Gary Null, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Jim1138 (talk) 07:27, 3 August 2018 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Peter Thomas (announcer). Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. General Ization Talk 20:29, 4 August 2018 (UTC)
Peter Thomas: "Google's death date states May 1."
[edit]Google is incorrect. See the cited sources at the article, and stop edit warring immediately or you will be blocked from editing. General Ization Talk 20:36, 4 August 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Gary Null. Thank you. Roxy, the dog. barcus 07:27, 6 August 2018 (UTC)

Request reason:
Please give me one more chance. I'll make sure to verify my edits.
Decline reason:
You've been given many chances and warnings; they have not changed your behavior. I would need much more than your mere assurance that you will change your editing behavior in order to unblock you. In my opinion it would need to be some sort of topic ban, perhaps from editing BLPs in general, or something more specific- but I don't see a benefit to the project in unblocking you at this time, and I am declining this request. 331dot (talk) 15:04, 24 August 2018 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
(Non-administrator comment) As I see it, you had about a dozen "chances" to change your editing behavior, as indicated above, and failed to do so. There is no good reason to think you will do so now. General Ization Talk 14:53, 24 August 2018 (UTC)

Request reason:
Please!!!! Walle637 (talk) 15:21, 25 August 2018 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information.
Any further requests that do not deal directly with the issues are likely to see you prevented from editing this page as well. Voice of Clam (formerly Optimist on the run) (talk) 15:51, 25 August 2018 (UTC)
