Thanks
Thank you for reverting the vandalism on my user page :) Jozal (talk) 20:38, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
A bit late, but...
Thanks for reverting that IP's vandalism to my userpage. 'Tis the life of a huggler, ain't it?--Iner22 (talk) 15:00, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
Yo, WadeSimMiser, just a note on this article and WP:CSD. This version was not really patent nonsense, as besides from the grammar and spelling it is not difficult to discern the topic of the article is. The text read:
french birthdays french birthdays are like any other birthday to selaberat the day you where born. they have a party have cake or go out to eat with people.they sueve what ever they fell like survin for the party or they would just go out to eat so they can eat on that day.
Which I would read as
- French birthdays
French birthdays are like any other birthday: to celebrate the day you were born. They have a party, have cake, or go out to eat with people. They serve whatever they feel like serving for the party or they would just go out to eat so that they can eat on that day.
It seems clear that the topic of the article is the ways in which French people observe the custom of birthdays, and that the text talks about parties and eating out. WP:G1 is for pages "consisting entirely of incoherent text or gibberish with no meaningful content or history", like "asjasfhjsfdijwnskdhdaskjdfsadjf" and whatnot, not for poorly-written articles, just to keep in mind for the future. Thanks for patrolling new pages, and please keep it up, as it is important work! Regards, Skomorokh, barbarian 18:47, 12 November 2009 (UTC)
- Maybe I could've turned it into a redirect, like you already did. WadeSimMiser (talk) 22:10, 12 November 2009 (UTC)
- I always think, when in doubt, don't delete :) Happy editing, Skomorokh, barbarian 22:13, 12 November 2009 (UTC)
Generic thank message
Thankyou for reverting that f****** vandalism on my userpage (get it? :-) I wouldn't normally use that language, sorry). I only just noticed it now, actually. Though it must have took that IP a long time to write all that. Lord Spongefrog, (Talk to me, or I'll eat your liver!) 17:57, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to User talk:Native to Neptune. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --Native to Neptune (talk) 17:30, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
- Arf arf. He did the same to me too, Lord Spongefrog, (Talk to me, or I'll eat your liver!) 17:31, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
- Yep. Because of NawlinWiki's modifications to Abuse Filter 260, I've had to learn to improvise. --Native to Neptune (talk) 17:33, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
Dead Link? I wouldn't be so sure
You tagged a link I added to Perryville (MARC station) as being dead. When I clicked on the link it was, but when I went to the place where I found the link, it was still alive(http://www.aaroads.com/mid-atlantic/maryland001/md-007_wb_at_perryville_marc_station.jpg). I don't know why some links don't work all the time. ----DanTD (talk) 14:22, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
:It came up with an error 403. I don't know whether or not it counts as a dead link. WadeSimMiser (talk) 01:58, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
- It would seem that way to me. The thing is, sometimes the link shows up and other time it doesn't. Here's the site where I got it from(http://www.aaroads.com/mid-atlantic/md-007.html). When I click on the photo directly from there, I don't have any problems whatsoever. ----DanTD (talk) 17:31, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
Sorry
I hit rollback by mistake whilst browsing the recent changes page, I've reverted my rollback. I hope I've caused no inconvenience. Sorry! --Île flottɑnte~Floɑting islɑnd Talk 02:00, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
Page blanked by author
Hi. Though page blanking is usually vandalism and needs to be reverted, it is worth looking first at the page history, because sometimes the author has blanked his own page, as with Carlos Bertulani just now. In those cases the best thing is to tag it {{db-author}}. It can be confusing for an author who realises his page is inappropriate and blanks it, if his page is at once restored and he is accused of vandalism for the blanking and told it was unconstructive. This author must be confused by now - he blanked it three times and was reverted three times, but the article seems to me acceptable, and I have asked him what he really wants. CMonster95
Hello. I made the page that was deleted "CMonster95" because I wanted to post information about the company CMonster95. It has been worked on constantly for the last three years. What can I do so that it won't be deleted? It is a company. If you want to see the website, go to [1]. Thanks. CMonster95 —Preceding undated comment added 18:05, 3 December 2009 (UTC).
- "It is a company." Okay, but there are endless numbers of companies. What makes this company stand out? You should provide information about the company that may make the company notable. WadeSimMiser (talk) 22:20, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: Sikh Ramgarhia
Hello WadeSimMiser, and thanks for your work patrolling new changes. I am just informing you that I declined the speedy deletion of Sikh Ramgarhia - a page you tagged - because: WP:CSD#G1 is only for "incoherent text or gibberish with no meaningful content or history. This excludes poor writing, partisan screeds, obscene remarks, implausible theories... ". Please review the criteria for speedy deletion before tagging further pages. If you have any questions or problems, please let me know. JohnCD (talk) 16:49, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
- That message wasn't really meant for you, but for the original tagger - it was produced by a script which evidently doesn't cope with a tag-restored situation. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 16:51, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
- The speedy deletion tag was re-applied before the speedy was declined. WadeSimMiser (talk) 16:59, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, but what I meant was, the message above was intended for the original tagger who incorrectly tagged it G1, not for you who were just restoring an improperly removed tag. Cheers, JohnCD (talk) 17:14, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
- The speedy deletion tag was re-applied before the speedy was declined. WadeSimMiser (talk) 16:59, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
Before anyone says anything ...
I have modified many of the SEPTA links concerning rapid transit. These links were checked before they were applied to be sure they go directly to the page intended. The old links go to directly to SEPTA's home page instead of the page intended. WadeSimMiser (talk) 17:34, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
