Keltie Martin

A "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article Keltie Martin, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but yours may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Not sure

I'm not sure as to how I can make a page from scratch. I've added information to existing pages, but never created one out of thin air. I apologize. --WadeSimMiser 02:12, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

The page you created was fine, it was just that, in my opinion, the subject (Keltie Martin) does not meet the notability requirements for biographies which are outlined here. However, if you disagree, you are perfectly entitled to remove the proposed deletion notice I added to the top of the article if you can explain on the article talk page why you think that Keltie Martin satisfies those requirements. How to categorize

I'm not exactly sure as to how to properly categorize the Keltie Martin article. I know she's a Deal or No Deal model, but I want the article to show up on the category page, as well as be able to link to it from the page. WadeSimMiser 18:08, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

Wikimedia Pennsylvania

Hello there!

I'm writing to inform you that we are now forming the first local Wikimedia Chapter in the United States: Wikimedia Pennsylvania. Our goals are to perform outreach and fundraising activities on behalf of the various Wikimedia projects. If you're interested in being a part of the chapter, or just want to know more, you can:

Thanks and I hope you join up! Cbrown1023 talk 04:49, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article List of Deal or No Deal models (US), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Saudi Oil

Re your plea in Talk:Oil and energy resources of Saudi Arabia. The answer is pathetically simple:

  • remove any leading blanks from each line!
  • change <ref/> into </ref>

Also the <ref name="… construct is useful when you have multiple identical references. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 03:53, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

Your strange edit to biological interaction

I'm not sure what your edit there was supposed to be... The last three before it were vandalism and instead of rolling them back to my version you undid the edit I made? If you're going to undo someone's edit, especially an established user, it should be clear why you are doing so. Richard001 (talk) 23:17, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Edits from anonymous users

yea why not, i wanted to do it in a fancy way.

Just to let you know:

If you have to tell me something, at least have the decency to sign your post. WadeSimMiser (talk) 23:49, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

You can do this by typing four tildes at the end of your message. I will delete any messages if they are not signed this way! --WadeSimMiser (talk) 01:41, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

Hi, sorry to but in but this page is already available here making it eligible for an A2 speedy. The policy is to discourage this type of article creation. BlueValour (talk) 00:15, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

And I thought I was in trouble. I mean to cause no harm. --WadeSimMiser 00:15, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
Not at all; it was a good shout but policy is a minefield that I am still gingerly picking my way through as well :-) Actually, its been overtaken by events since someone has already tagged it as a G12. BlueValour (talk) 00:19, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Nice job fighting vandalism.

Hello, WadeSimMiser. I'm impressed that you're reverting vandalism, but there is a faster feature called rollback, which more vandal-fighters use. You could request for it if you want to, here. SchfiftyThree 23:05, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

Rollback

After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback can only be used to revert vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback may be removed at any time.

If you do not want rollback, then contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some information on how to use rollback, you can view this page. I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, just leave me a message on my talk page. Happy editing! Malinaccier (talk) 23:36, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

Re: Signatures

I think this article will have everything you need! :) If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! Malinaccier (talk) 17:20, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

I don't think it mentions anything about saving your customed signature. WadeSimMiser (talk) 20:07, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
