RFA !voting
[edit]Hi, SchfiftyThree. I am disappointed to see the comments that you received following your recent "Oppose" !vote at Tide rolls' RFA. Although I don't agree with your opinion, I fully support your "right" to !vote. It is up to the closing bureaucrat to assess the merits of our !votes, not all and sundry to harrass you. Best wishes. Editor Review
[edit]I hope you don't mind. I removed the Editor Review template at the top of your userpage, as it pointed to an ER that is already closed from last year. The Thing // Talk // Contribs 18:35, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- I don't mind. I just left it there in case someone who stumbles upon my page decides to review my edits at the most recent time. Schfifty3 01:21, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

A hand-typed thank you
[edit]Thank you, SchfiftyThree, for your support on my RfB. It's a shame that you're mostly retired now; I do remember our interactions from years ago and it was good to see your name appear in my watchlist. Best. Acalamari 10:27, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
Happy First Edit Day
[edit]New deal for page patrollers
[edit]Hi SchfiftyThree,
In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.
Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.
Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)

Nomination for deletion of Template:Todd Field awards
[edit]Template:Todd Field awards has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for discussion page. Frietjes (talk) 17:25, 7 July 2017 (UTC)
The article Rocket Transfer Warehouse has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable band; only sources I can find are minimal mentions in local news
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Vahurzpu (talk) 03:46, 24 October 2020 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Arrival (Rocket Transfer Warehouse album)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Arrival (Rocket Transfer Warehouse album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. A tag has been placed on Arrival (Rocket Transfer Warehouse album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article does not exist or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.
