Fleetwood Mac
[edit]Thanks for creating all these articles about Fleetwood Mac singles, you're doing a great job. Remember notability though, for example, I don't think "Sunny Side of Heaven" is notable enough for an article. Cheers, Bretonbanquet (talk) 15:00, 21 June 2015 (UTC)
Hey it's me. I think that it should because it was on an album that's sold a million copies in the U.S. and it's a very good song. It's not doing anyone harm is it?
- No, but it still has to pass the notability requirements. Otherwise you could write an article about nearly all Fleetwood Mac songs. Basically a song has to be a single (A-side) and it has to have charted somewhere as a single. Or, you have to find enough information and sources about it to write a much longer article. Bretonbanquet (talk) 15:14, 21 June 2015 (UTC)
Okay, well I'm not going to do every song (even though every Beatles song has a wiki page), I will only do the songs from now on that are singles or that I can write a long article about.
- Yeah, the Beatles are supposedly a "special case" although a lot of people argue about that. I see you've linked "Thoughts on a Grey Day" - sorry, that's nowhere near fit for a stand-alone article. Any reliably-sourced info you can find (not forum posts!) should go into Bare Trees. Cheers, Bretonbanquet (talk) 15:28, 21 June 2015 (UTC)
Okay but guess what! That "forum post" is more reliable then half the things on wikipedia, go look at the post first it is reliable. "Thoughts on a grey day" will have more then the fourm post, please wait until I'm done typing. Please do not delete my work, i'm not doing much more after this and besides, am I wasting internet space? Is it wrong information? No! I don't see what the problem is. TOAGD will be longer then other song pages I made. Thank you.
- I know most of the guys on that forum, and while they are posting in good faith, they make mistakes. Trying to find someone from the past is a lot harder than they think. I think it's maybe 50/50 that this woman is who they think it is. I'm not going to delete anything you do, but someone else might, and I can't stop them. It's not a question of internet space, it's more a question of Wikipedia's notability guidelines, and some people enforce them very strictly. I'm waiting for TOAGD but there really isn't much information out there, and it should probably go into the album article anyway. Bretonbanquet (talk) 15:49, 21 June 2015 (UTC)
I PM'ed him for details and he proved it is legit.
- You PMed who? Wikipedia needs a lot more than someone's say-so. I saw the article, but I doubt it will stay for long. Why have you got all the members of Fleetwood Mac under personnel? There's no evidence any of them were present. You have John McVie doing vocals. It's really shaky, sorry. Bretonbanquet (talk) 15:53, 21 June 2015 (UTC)
Read the book and come back to me okay? They were all there and at the end they say good job and laugh okay? I PM'ed someone on The Ledge.
- I've read the book. The male voice at the end is not a member of the band. Someone on the Ledge is not a reliable source. Could be anybody. Bretonbanquet (talk) 16:37, 21 June 2015 (UTC)

This is not right. There is nothing wrong with it. I'll add a few sources if it makes you happy. Please do not delete it Why are you guys picking at everything I do.
- This is not personal and there is no wish to discourage you from contributing. However, rightly or wrongly, Wikipedia does not want articles on every song ever. When selecting songs about which to create articles, WP:NSONGS will provide guidance. RichardOSmith (talk) 12:58, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
- Also, there is no reason why you cannot make your case for inclusion at the AfD and I would encourage you to do so. RichardOSmith (talk) 13:00, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
I'm not doing every song!!! Only the notable ones. Freedom was the only time that another person played percussion on a studio Fleetwood Mac song AND the only one that was co-written by Michael Campbell.
- Ok, but whether that's notability or trivia is subjective. Wikipedia has a clear and straightforward definition: something is notable if there is non-trivial independent coverage of it in multiple reliable sources. If you can reference such sources then the article should be saved. RichardOSmith (talk) 14:31, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
You have just taken time away from me. I'm no robot. You need to stop deleting everything I do and start adding things to it. You're to lazy to help me out and add some more references that you just have to hit that delete button.

Articles
[edit]Hello Visnvoisnvo, I thought I'd leave you a message as opposed to templating you with a discouraging message. First of all, you seem like a keen editor, which is always great to see on here, thankyou for your contributions, they're appreciated. I see that many, many, many articles you create end up being deleted or redirected, and I thought I'd explain why. It's not because editors are too lazy to contribute, and deleting is an easier option, it's nothing personal, and it's not because people don't like new pages. The reason is that most, if not all of the articles you create fail notability guidelines. Some of these guidelines are general to all articles, while some are specific to songs or albums. These guidelines are in place to keep chaotic, very minimal articles from flooding the site. I kindly ask you to read the guidelines I've linked before creating more articles. Should you make many more articles like you've made in the past, I'll have no choice but to contact admins and ask them to revoke your creation privileges. All the best, Azealia911 talk 02:08, 27 July 2015 (UTC)

Fleetwood Mac Rumours
[edit]Please don't remove the valid list of studios at Rumours (album). These can be seen at the Mojo magazine article and in the Ken Caillat book.
Also, don't add the assertion that Nicks sequenced all the tracks. Nobody else confirms this statement by Nicks. For instance Ken Caillat says he had a small part in the track order. And Leah Furman writes about how the band decided against one of Nicks' favorite tracks, substituting "I Don't Want To Know" for the longer "Silver Springs" which Nicks very much wanted to have on the album. So Nicks did not "sequence" the tracks on the album, at least not alone, and not with any kind of veto power. Basically, it was Mick Fleetwood's final decision, since he was the band leader. Binksternet (talk) 18:28, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
Are you sure?

Note
[edit]The result of the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Illume (9–11) was that the song is not notable enough to have its own article, and it was redirected to the pertaining album. Please refrain from undoing the redirect. The sources that were there a few minutes ago do not establish notability for the song. Kraxler (talk) 02:09, 9 August 2015 (UTC)
It's is notable!! 1. Fleetwood Mac song about 9/11 2. Info on unreleased songs from the subject 3. Plenty of sources 4. Bass player John McVie strangely plays the black keys on it.
In the Meantime
[edit]I've reverted your edit to the tracklisting at In the Meantime because you've introduced a lot of stuff that looks very strange. It looks a lot like you're trying to say that Stevie Nicks wrote or contributed to most of those songs, which as we both know, is not true. You should probably start to follow some of the rules if you want to be taken seriously. Bretonbanquet (talk) 11:31, 9 August 2015 (UTC)
That's just because I copied the concept from her page. Does it show Stevie's name on the page itself? No. So why does it matter? Nobody sees it. It's you nitpicking at my work. -talk:Visnvoisnvo
- What are you talking about? You think you can add information to an article that's blatantly untrue, but it doesn't matter because it doesn't show? Yeah, I "nitpick" at that. If you reinsert it, we can go through the whole warning / reporting thing. Bretonbanquet (talk) 19:21, 9 August 2015 (UTC)
- And if you must use the tracklisting template, don't keep repeating the composers' first names. First name on first mention; surname only thereafter. Bretonbanquet (talk) 19:31, 9 August 2015 (UTC)
No dude. Come down. I was not purposely putting wrong information. I copied the template from Stevie's Wild Heart album. It was a mistake. -Visnvoisnvo

Articles
[edit]Well aren't you getting a lot of attention! As you probably know, I'm Dobbyelf62. You've probably seen me around on various discussion logs and other articles. I would like to thank you for putting time into making all of these articles. I had planned to create many of these articles at one point or another but for some reason they would never happen. So it's nice to have someone doing all of this work. That being said, many of these articles have been proposed for deletion. While some of these I have opted for redirect (nothing personal), I have recently found all of your new articles very solid. So good job! I'm doing my best to improve these articles that have been proposed for deletion (I've already worked on Not That Funny and Rattlesnake Shake) and I plan to work on them even more. If I were you, I would hold off creating any more articles for now and make sure that the ones you've created survive. You can do this by adding more background information and sources. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. I'm more than happy to help! Dobbyelf62 (talk) 12:14, 21 August 2015 (UTC)
Well thanks for being the first nice person. Thanks for additions on those articles.
Reliable sources
[edit]Please try and use reliable sources for your additions. Unreliable sources include YouTube, Discogs and the Fleetwood Mac Ledge site and its discography. There is no editorial oversight on them. Also, having someone on Facebook tell you something doesn't cut it on Wikipedia. Thanks, Bretonbanquet (talk) 20:42, 30 August 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Yes, his albums are basically notable, but stick to the studio albums and the official live albums, as anything else probably isn't notable. Cheers, Bretonbanquet (talk) 16:15, 12 September 2015 (UTC)
- I would say that none of those were notable enough for their own article, as they didn't chart (if they were singles) and it's unlikely that there's enough reliable info on them to make a decent-sized article. Even though the artists are highly notable, and the album is notable, the individual songs are pretty obscure, except perhaps for "Crystal" as Fleetwood Mac recorded it as well. I'm not sure that would be enough for an article though. Bretonbanquet (talk) 18:10, 14 September 2015 (UTC)

Repost of Template:Rumours
[edit] A tag has been placed on Template:Rumours requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's discussion directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of recreating the page. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of John T. Mather Memorial Hospital
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on John T. Mather Memorial Hospital requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.matherhospital.org/history.php. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. reddogsix (talk) 02:32, 15 November 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Your recent editing history at Wilbur Ross shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
You've violated the WP:3RR and you have two (2) editors who have disagreed with you. I'd strongly recommend you use the talk page and don't revert per WP:BRD, or I'll take this to a notice board. Corkythehornetfan (ping me) 18:43, 18 March 2017 (UTC)
