Bear Grylls

[edit]

Not sure why your game is but articles are watched closely, so any changes (such as trying to remove the fact that Bear was part-time STAB in the SAS or that his father was a tory grandee) that try and make the article more advert like will be reverted almost instantly. --Fredrick day 21:13, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Warning about Bear Grylls page

[edit]

Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. Not sure why you keep trying to slant the article, I can only assume you have some connection to the subject. If you feel that such changes are justified (and I'm not sure how they could be), then please discuss it on the talkpage. If you persist, it is likely you will be blocked. --Fredrick day 14:12, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

still at it I see

[edit]

I'm not sure why you persist in trying to turn the article into some form of advert, anyway as you can see, your PR spinwork is quickly reverted. --Fredrick day (talk) 10:01, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

London

[edit]

Nice to pop by and not leave a message about reverting - got any sources for saying he was born in london? I have no idea so will not revert so it would be nice to have a source either way. regards --Fredrick day (talk) 20:35, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop

[edit]

Please do not add personal information that is inappropriate to an article, such as where Bear's children live and their names. SWATJester Son of the Defender 17:09, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:20070131 102 350x263-1-.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 20:00, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Medium.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Medium.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:35, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]

I have blocked your account for disruption, due to your repeated problematic editing on the Bear Grylls article, followed by the above picture upload, which is clearly a high resolution copyrighted screenshot from Man vs. Wild, that you falsely claim to be the author and copyright holder of. SWATJester Son of the Defender 00:20, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our policies concerning neutral point of view and biographies of living persons will not be tolerated.

I took this picture last summer in North Wales - I have many similar ones (less good though)- it was part of a clothing shoot for Craghoppers

I only edit carefully to correct factual errors such as Bear was a soldier not an officer in 21 SAS etc.
