Dhananjay Munde
Hello VinventVikram,
I am new to wikipedia. I would like your help in editing an article. It seems that you are already interested in the same article as I saw your name in the Dhananjay Munde's article history, hence I am seeking your help. I stumbled across an official affidavit which Mr. Dhananjay Munde submitted to the election commission. In this affidavit he only admitted having 3 daughters. His wikipedia, however, shows 4 children – this information is based on news articles references. It seems inaccurate. Since legally he only admitted having 3 daughters, I would like to make a change accordingly. Here is the link to the official document. [1] Also the link for the official website -[2]
Let me know if the change I am suggesting is constructive. Neha Kute (talk) 07:54, 9 March 2021 (UTC)NehaKute
- Neha Kute Thanks for the info. Two problems here. I cannot cite a primary source as it would be difficult to know if that affidavit was challenged through some other legal channel and, two, we can use only a secondary reliable source per WP:RS. So unless you can produce a reliable newspaper article showing 3 children, I'm afraid any change will be reverted. Vikram Vincent 08:15, 9 March 2021 (UTC)
Hello, Thank you so much for sending me a welcome message! I will search if there are any newspaper articles for the references. Thanks again for your help Neha Kute (talk) 08:20, 9 March 2021 (UTC)NehaKute
Thank you
Yes! Here to stay and help create and edit articles on women and non binary folks in art, design and architecture. Big thank you for the super useful welcome message :)

- Kill joyarchivist On your user subpage, you could create a list of people you feel may be notable. Do a quick search then to see if there is material to support your hunch.. If yes, then you could flesh out a draft within your user subpage which can then be moved to main space once it is completed and you get some feedback. Art, design and architecture in India and especially women-non binary folk are less covered. Vikram Vincent 05:29, 10 March 2021 (UTC)
Non-biographies
Please do not list AfDs that are not about biographies of professors at Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Academics and educators. I have removed your bad listings. —David Eppstein (talk) 17:37, 11 March 2021 (UTC)
Thanks David Eppstein. My bad. Will keep that in mind. Vikram Vincent 17:43, 11 March 2021 (UTC)
The article Inter-Disciplinary Programme in Educational Technology has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
The Article is not notable and lacks reliable sources.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Pranhita (talk) 21:35, 11 March 2021 (UTC)
Safoora Zargar
This is regarding revision 1012297086 on the article Safoora Zargar. I do understand that I should have raised this issue before making the edit and I will keep that in mind for future edits. The "specific claims" I mentioned provided context to the content of the paragraph, especially to the line "The claims have been widely debunked by reputed fact-checking portals" and I believe the line does not make sense without details about what the claims were in the first place. Also, the affiliation of those pursuing the online campaigns only serves to give context about the difference in political leanings. I'd like to get some perspective on this so that we can reach a consensus. Thank you.--Indianite (talk) 17:41, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Indianite! Part of the content you wrote would be WP:OR since the specific references had made no mention of who was behind the incident. Further, the use of "slut-shaming" was not mentioned in the source either and hence not added. The current form stating that something happened and it was debunked is neutral for the wiki. Best! Vikram Vincent 17:45, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
- It wouldn't constitute as WP:OR since the specific references actually explicitly mention the details of those behind the incidents. I've discussed the full issue in detail here. Thank you. --Indianite (talk) 03:32, 16 March 2021 (UTC)
Happy St. Patrick's Day
Happy St. Patrick's Day! I hope your St. Patrick's Day is enjoyable and safe. Hopefully next year there will be more festive celebrations. Best wishes from Los Angeles. // Timothy :: talk |
- Thanks, TimothyBlue! I'll have to now add tasting Irish beer and Irish whiskey to my bucket list :D

You are doing a great job
Hey Vincent, you are doing a pretty job by trying to throw out some thrash from this encyclopedia. Keep up the work. I am also a user who tries to do it. What I said in the discussion will actuly help you to improve. If you use such arguments, the chances of the article getting deleted will come to less. Because what you say in the nomination is important for the closing admin to take a decision. Thats why said it. Hope you took it positively. Happy editing and regards. By the way, I wanted to ask you one thing. Are you from Kerala. If soz from which district? Kichu🐘 Need any help? 17:34, 19 March 2021 (UTC)
- Kashmorwiki THanks! I got your reasons :-) Having been around crowds I try not to push my way(arguments) when I don't need to :D Allows me to be dispassionate. While I am surrounded by Mallus I am only a neighbour :-) Vikram Vincent 17:50, 19 March 2021 (UTC)

AfD nominations
Hey. Not to say there's anything wrong with your nominations, especially since most of them seem to be closing as delete, but it might be good to slow down the number that your doing in any given day so there will be enough time to adequately research them and people won't use the whole "your doing to many nominations at once" strawman against you later. The reason I'm suggesting it is because I was nominating articles for schools in Africa a few months ago at about the same pace and was roundly attacked/almost topic blocked for doing the nominations to quickly. Pro "keep everything" people will use whatever they can to stop articles from being nominated. So, it's better to be strategic about it and not potentially give them anything to use against you. Even if the nominations are completely warranted and correct. --Adamant1 (talk) 03:28, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
Adamant1 Thanks, will do :-) Vikram Vincent 03:36, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
Also, when you add the AfDs to Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Schools, would you mind adding them to the correct section. I'm getting rather tired of moving tertiary institutions from the section clearly headed "Primary and secondary schools" to the section clearly headed "Universities and colleges". You're not the only offender, but you are the most prolific at the moment. Thanks. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:46, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Necrothesp! LOL :-) Sure, though I dont know what what tag to use for universities and colleges as those are not available tags. I find only schools, engineering/management/place as the only option. Do guide how I pick tertiary institutions as the section. Thanks! Vikram Vincent 14:57, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
- Still {{subst:delsort|Schools|~~~~}}. Used in the American sense of all educational institutions, rather than the Commonwealth sense of only primary and secondary institutions. But subdivided within the delsort page. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:03, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
- Necrothesp should I go to the delsort place and do a manual move? I use twinkle. I did not get the next step after this {{subst:delsort|Schools|~~~~}} Vikram Vincent 15:22, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
- It would help. Thanks. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:35, 30 March 2021 (UTC)

Necrothesp Cool! Will check it out with my next noms. Peace Vikram Vincent 15:44, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
Necrothesp Any way to add the list to twinkle? Vikram Vincent 15:45, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
- I'm afraid I don't know. I don't use it. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:48, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
