Your GA nomination of London congestion charge

The article London congestion charge you nominated as a good article has failed ; see Talk:London congestion charge for reasons why the nomination failed. If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of the article. Sorry about that, but having just seen what DavidCane wrote above, in retrospect I think a fail was going to be the only realistic option I'm afraid, as two weeks ago he dropped some serious hints that the article was nowhere near ready - and it isn't. David's a good editor for London Transport articles so it's worth working together with him if possible. Redrose64 is another editor who's worth getting to know as he knows all the railway templates (that make my head hurt) inside out back to front upside down. I really hope you do carry on editing articles, but it might be worth getting one of those two to check over an article before you nominate it for GA in future, just to be on the safe side. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 17:06, 1 April 2015 (UTC)
Ok, thanks anyways. :) Vincent60030 (talk) 10:07, 2 April 2015 (UTC)
Just a note about teams, although one person has to actually open the GA nomination, anyone can fix issues raised by the reviewer. For example, Denmark Street was a three way collaboration, though I handled the "paperwork", the actual edits to the article were more or less split evenly. Teams and respect takes some time though, you basically have to show others that you do good writing work - I can't think of any shortcuts, sadly. But all I can say is that if you do good work, people will notice, and mutual collaboration is (imho) one of the nicest surprises Wikipedia can throw at you. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 15:08, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
Strongly agree to your statement. Thanks for reviewing it anyways. I will fix all those issues mentioned and let the rest who are good at the topic improve it further. All the best and keep editing! :) Vincent60030 (talk) 16:16, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
I decided to start off by assisting with other people's GA reviews, with the idea of progressing to nomination, and finally carrying out actual reviews. So far, you'll find my name on 20 or so GA review pages:
but none of them have me as the actual reviewer. I think that I was the nominator in only one case (not listed, see later), but in all these listed I was there mainly to make in-passing responses to either the nominator or the reviewer. In a few cases (like the Yoko Ono one) I went there in response to a general call at some noticeboard or other. Not listed is Talk:NBR 224 and 420 Classes/GA1 - although I wrote most of the article, and nominated it for GA, I wasn't at all involved in the GA. It passed. --Redrose64 (talk) 19:20, 7 April 2015 (UTC)
@Redrose64:Thanks, appreciate that. When I'm free, I will come over and improve London congestion charge with you. :) Vincent60030 (talk) 01:27, 8 April 2015 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Acton Town tube station, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Stonebridge Park. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Spam on Wikipedia:Articles for creation/Redirects

Why did you re-add the spam to Wikipedia:Articles for creation/Redirects? Are you using some sort of automated tool to automatically undo changes to that page, or do you really think that blatant advertising for a spell caster is an appropriate use for that page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by ChocolateMouchoirs (talkcontribs) 15:02, 30 June 2015 (UTC)

No, I didn't re-add the spam. It's already gone. Yes, I use twinkle to revert spams and vandalisms. Vincent60030 (talk) 15:06, 30 June 2015 (UTC)
You clearly re-added spam to the page with this edit: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Articles_for_creation/Redirects&diff=669341978&oldid=669341673 — Preceding unsigned comment added by ChocolateMouchoirs (talkcontribs) 15:09, 30 June 2015 (UTC)
