Neoconservatism in Spain moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Neoconservatism in Spain, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can develope the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Thanks, --DannyS712 (talk) 10:15, 12 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Neoconservatism in Spain, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 23:46, 19 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction to contentious topics

[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Additionally, you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days, and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

I was unaware that the extended protected requirements also applied to the talk pages, because I was obviously not able to edit the article but the "reply" option was there. My apologies for the confusion. Vhstef (talk) 18:40, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As you appear to have been already aware of the sanctions, please stop creating pages about topics related to the Arab-Israeli conflict. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 22:52, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I only created something so that others could continue working on it. It is of course a skeleton for now, but I will leave it alone. Vhstef (talk) 22:55, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Creating new pages also falls under the contentious topic restrictions. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 22:56, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
