semi protecting articles
[edit]Your request [1] has been partially fulfilled. The articles in Template:Cable & Satellite TV Provider in Philippines have been semi protected. Active Banana (talk) 17:16, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
cable channel line ups
[edit]I suggest you use your cable site to keep up on channel listings. They are going to have more accurate and up to date information than Wikipedia ever could. Information would only ever be able to appear here AFTER it already posted on the official and any information here is easily subjected to malicious vandalism or just plain errors in copying. Active Banana (talk) 06:30, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
- You can make your claim that Wikipedia is more accurate than the station's own listing Wikipedia_talk:What_Wikipedia_is_not#NOTDIR_include_current_channel_listings. Active Banana (talk) 23:06, 19 June 2010 (UTC)

Philippine Cable Channels Remove Agian and Agian Part 3
[edit]Hello Vgyu, after Active Banana another user Wikipedical is currently removing Philippines Cable and DTH Channels Article like SkyCable, Global Destiny Cable, Cablelink, Dream Satellite TV, G Sat, Cable Star Iloilo, Royal Cable, Cignal Digital TV, Telmarc Cable, Kalibo Cable, GV Broadcasting Systems, Inc., Parasat Cable TV and SPC-New World Cable TV among others due to unvalid reason taken from NOTDIR which is not mention about TV channels itself. I'm so upset why he removed the channel line up from the Philippines except other Asian and World cable and DTH provider still display their channel line up to present time in their respective article, but Wikipedical invite them to his/her Talk Page to clarify the issue. Please help! --Puppyph | Talk 13:26, 04 July 2010 (UTC)
Re: comments
[edit]Hi. I would encourage you to be more respectful and considerate when editing or leaving messages on user talk pages, like what you said on mine. I don't wish for a disagreement to become at all personal. Please don't resort to personal attacks against me or other users ("just mind your own business" as an example.). I merely objected to the copying and pasting of cable channel listings into a Wikipedia article. Not only could that be construed as copyright infringement, but I believe it goes against WP:DIRECTORY, since channel listings do resemble "directories" of information. We can discuss this further without resorting to incivility. Thanks. -- Wikipedical (talk) 22:45, 5 July 2010 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Tvp hologram.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Tvp hologram.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 01:06, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
Pinoy Nostalgia's Fight vs. Hoaxers, Deleters, Posers and Hackers Page
[edit]I have been monitoring your Facebook page for the past months (and even sent a congratulatory message to Perry Pats) and then this morning, when I check your page again, I can't believe that someone listed me as a hoaxer. Then after an admin (admin pasay) pointed out that I am a "kakampi" here in en.wiki, they listed me in the FORMER HOAXERS list instead. This for me is a little bit offensive since before your "advocacy page" existed, I have removed all of the hoax edits here from Lianlaspinas to Bertrand (admin Kamias can attest to that). I am requesting you or any of the admins on that FB page to REMOVE me on the hoaxers and the former hoaxers page. The person who added me there don't have any idea on what I have been doing for the past six years. -WayKurat (talk) 08:04, 9 July 2011 (UTC)
- We had already removed you. I consider this act as stupidity committed by one of our admins. We are recognizing your work, by admin <!!!> of the page. We apologize.Vgyu 11:24, 9 July 2011 (UTC)
- Actually, it was Admin Bulacan instructed us to add you since he said "Dapat ilagay si WayKurat", in which Admin Pasay did. Admin Bulacan had already been suspended for 5 days for this action. Admin Bulacan even called you WayBurat. Vgyu 13:51, 9 July 2011 (UTC)
Re: Global Destiny Cable digital channel
[edit]As per policies WP:NOT and WP:RS, the sources that you have provided me does not meet enough credibility. Forums and Facebook posts are not considered reliable by Wikipedia. It will be more helpful if you posted a press release or a newspaper article about this new feature of Global Destiny. -WayKurat (talk) 03:15, 6 April 2012 (UTC)
- Still not convinced? Why not contact Global Destiny? Thank you. Vgyu 04:31, 6 April 2012 (UTC)

- It's not a problem, I don't even want it to become an article. I'm just making an "alternate history article". Say, will I violate any rule because it might be mistaken as a hoax? Vgyu 21:17, 30 March 2015 (UTC).

[edit]Ang Iglesia ni Cristo on ABS-CBN 2
[edit]Hi VGYU, I Will Just tell You that Acording to an Edit of Josephbernardlim Ang Iglesia ni Cristo Started its Airing on ABS-CBN Channel 2 in 1986 or the Year that this Aforementioned Station was Reopened and Resumed its Commercial Broadcast Operations Using the Same Channel Number and the Same Frequency Callsign DWWX-TV which is Formerly Owned by Banahaw Broadcasting Corporation or BBC in which this Said Program is Aired not 1990 according to the Pasugo Magazine so there is no False Information. 2001:4454:19E:100:A57B:CFD4:1913:F6AE (talk) 10:46, 20 July 2022 (UTC)
- You are engaging in vandalism. I will try to get other Wikipedia users such as User:WayKurat to have you blocked from editing any Wikipedia article if you continue to insist on spreading false information.
- I am also a member of the Iglesia ni Cristo and I have first-hand information with regards to the broadcast history of the program Ang Iglesia ni Cristo. The program premiered on February 1983 on BBC-2 but transferred to MBS-4 until the EDSA People Power Revolution, where it began telecasting on RPN 9 until the year 1990, where the program began airing on ABS-CBN until the year 2003. This information has been indicated on the 75th and centennial anniversary issues of the Iglesia ni Cristo's Pasugo: God's Message magazine.
- Do not attempt to dispute these first-hand information or else I ask moderators to block you from editing any Wikipedia article. Vgyu 04:35, 21 July 2022 (UTC)
- Hello, I see you are having a dispute here. Their edits are not vandalism. Your "first hand information" is actually just original research and that is not allowed on Wikipedia. Please tone down your aggression, as otherwise, you may be the one getting blocked. There is no reason that the IP should be blocked for disputing your original research. Mako001 (C) (T) 🇺🇦 07:54, 21 July 2022 (UTC)
- I can corroborate my original research with actual third-party sources. Vgyu 08:19, 21 July 2022 (UTC)

- @Mako001: The IP has been reported to AIV due to numerous addition of hoax and unsourced information, not only to the Ang Iglesia ni Cristo article but on the Family Rosary Crusade (TV program) article, among other Philippine television related articles as well. The IP may be a sockpuppet of the longterm vandal User:Laemonly Paul Labrador based from their editing behavior. Please note that the vandal's /40 IP range has been blocked for three months, the one that commented above is within the /32 range and was topic blocked. -WayKurat (talk) 09:19, 21 July 2022 (UTC)
- Sorry all (except the IP), I greatly misunderstood the situation, and offer my sincerest apologies. Whilst I did not exactly threaten to block you, I am sorry that it came across that way. I'll try to take more care in future. @WayKurat, thanks for the ping. Mako001 (C) (T) 🇺🇦 10:31, 21 July 2022 (UTC)
