You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
The page Draft:Miguel Roggero has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seemed to be unambiguous advertising which only promoted a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to have been fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, or you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Vfcalvi. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 02:56, 25 July 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Hello Vfcalvi. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Fuse Media, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Vfcalvi. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Vfcalvi|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Whisperjanes (talk) 03:19, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
- Hi! I'm not affiliated with Fuse Media. My employer does have Fuse Media as an account, but I am not on that account and my salary is not connected to the company's compensation from that account. I understand how this can lead to confusion and happy to update affiliation if you still deem it necessary. Thanks! Vfcalvi (talk) 15:09, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for your reply, Vfcalvi, and I appreciate the info you gave above. Just to understand what you said above, have you edited Wikipedia as part of your job? - Whisperjanes (talk) 22:38, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
- Of course! To add further clarity, no I do not edit Wikipedia for my job. I am tangentially connected to Fuse Media only through my employer as they are a client of the company as a whole. I am not on the account and not personally affiliated with Fuse. I understand the potential COI here though, so happy to update or disclose whatever I need to be compliant. Vfcalvi (talk) 18:30, 30 November 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks again, Vfcalvi. If that is the case, then I would follow the info that was posted on this page in July, earlier this year, about conflict of interests. You should at least disclose your potential COI, and there is information on how to do that here: WP:DISCLOSE. In this case, I would add the disclosure template to the talk page of the Fuse article or your userpage. If you need more help or want a quicker answer, the WP:TEAHOUSE is also a good place to go for any questions you have. I say this mostly because I am not always online, and there are other editors who are much more experienced (with COI editing and otherwise) that answer questions at the Teahouse. - Whisperjanes (talk) 18:58, 30 November 2023 (UTC)
- Okay, great. I've updated my user page accordingly. Might need some help with any other edits. Vfcalvi (talk) 19:11, 30 November 2023 (UTC)
- Unless you meant to, I wanted to mention that it looks like you used the paid disclosure template on your userpage, rather than the conflict of interest user template from WP:DISCLOSE. I would reference the "General COI" section, unless you meant to disclose as a paid editor. - Whisperjanes (talk) 19:23, 30 November 2023 (UTC)
- Is it correct now? Vfcalvi (talk) 19:30, 30 November 2023 (UTC)
- It looks correct on the Fuse Media talkpage, but I meant your userpage has a paid editing template, rather than a COI template like
{{UserboxCOI}}
from WP:DISCLOSE. You are free to leave that there, though, if you feel it is accurate. - Whisperjanes (talk) 19:46, 30 November 2023 (UTC)- Better safe than sorry! Thank you. Vfcalvi (talk) 19:49, 30 November 2023 (UTC)

Plus Life Media moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Plus Life Media. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it is promotional and reads like an advertisement. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. ... discospinster talk 03:45, 9 August 2024 (UTC)
