To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}}
on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes
~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
December 2020
[edit]Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. Thanks! Elizium23 (talk) 14:02, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for January 12
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Izuru Kamukura, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Depression and Deadline. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:33, 12 January 2021 (UTC)
Danganronpa
[edit]Hello, I moved the Danganronpa 3 pages back, because as much as I wish the DR3 translation was consistent with the video games, the English title of that show is Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak High School (see Funimation and Crunchyroll).--AlexandraIDV 03:45, 13 January 2021 (UTC)
- I've been wondering about Makoto Naegi having his own article but I'm not too familiar with the series. As a result, I tried adding reception to his character sectio. Hope it helps.Tintor2 (talk) 22:51, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
Freddy Fazbear
[edit]Hey. My attempts to make a Freddy Fazbear article were reverted by the same user who reverted your edits to William Afton. Could you try and make a better page for Freddy Fazbear, with sources describing notability, as he deserves a place here. --HaruhiSuzumiyaIsAGod (talk) 19:03, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
- @HaruhiSuzumiyaIsAGod: Actually, I do believe I have found enough to warrant a page; as much as for the Mario franchise enemies. Verablanc01 (talk) 19:45, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
[edit]This account has been blocked indefinitely as a sockpuppet that was created to violate Wikipedia policy. Note that using multiple accounts is allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that all edits made while evading a block or ban may be reverted or deleted. If this account is not a sockpuppet, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below. Request reason:
A sockpuppet is when you use create multiple accounts to abuse Wikipedia policy. I have not done that once with this account. I had more than one account when I was 12 years old, yes. But that was nine years ago now. I only use this one, for legitimate editing. I assure you I wouldn't dream of misusing editing privileges. Verablanc01 (talk) 19:10, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Per a CU check, yes, you have abused multiple accounts. Izno (talk) 19:24, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Verablanc01 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
@Izno: I was never denying that. I was saying I had not done so at the same time, recently, for nefarious reasons. When I was a literal child, yes, without any ill will as I did not know I was doing anything wrong, given I was a literal child at the time. I cannot emphasise this enough. I do not mean any harm to Wikipedia. Verablanc01 (talk) 20:07, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Checkusers have found multiple recent accounts, all previously blocked for similar behaviors that drew attention to you. This block wasn't placed haphazardly. The moment any of your past accounts were blocked, any future accounts are sockpuppets in violation of policy. Blocks are against the person, not the account. The only way for you to be unblocked is to return to your original account after 6 months without socking and do a Standard Offer. As you are community banned due to multiple sockpuppet blocks, that will have to be evaluated by the community at that time. It looks like the last time you attempted SO, the checkuser immediately found evidence you had still been socking, though. -- ferret (talk) 20:12, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
Request reason:
I was advised by a Wikipedia user once towards the very beginning that the Standard Offer never really works, and that creating a new account was always the better option. The fact of the matter is six months is much too long for me to go without using Wikipedia. It might seem like a short amount of time if you had other things to do maybe, but it's a long, long time for me, and with the pandemic, editing Wikipedia is literally the only thing I do from day to day, spending entire days doing nothing but edit and add. Verablanc01 (talk) 20:33, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You've been given bad advice then. Wikipedia:Wikipedia is not therapy, that you have nothing else to do isn't our problem. You continue to make the same disruptive edits on each account you make, without learning from warnings or prior blocks. The moment you were originally blocked, all future accounts are block evasion and will subsequently be blocked as sockpuppets, period. I am revoking your talk page access on this account as there is no point in continuing this. You can return to your original account when you're ready to follow policy. Again, YOU are blocked, not your accounts, and any account you create going forward is a sockpuppet and will also be blocked. -- ferret (talk) 20:38, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
