Welcome!

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Information icon Hi Tiago Niemayer! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information.

I'm curious to know why you removed the qualifiers "in size and armaments" from the first paragraph of the Reichswehr article that I enhanced from the German version. They help specify the types of limitations and are expanded using the same words in the body of the article. To me they are an appropriate and almost necessary part of the initial summary. I'd like to see them replaced. GHStPaulMN (talk) 18:39, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

GA reviews

[edit]

Hi please don't do any more good article reviews. Talk:Squatting_in_Hamburg/GA1 is not a review, you haven't made any comments. I would suggest reading the Wikipedia:Good article nominations/Instructions. Feel free to ask here if you have any questions - I'm also going to start a thread at Wikipedia_talk:Good_articles about this Mujinga (talk) 08:13, 8 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there Tiago Niemayer,

and thank you for taking the time to review articles. However, please note that – as User:Mujinga already said – Good Article reviews are best left to experienced editors since reviewers must ensure that the nominated articles correspond with Wikipedia's many policies and guidelines. Hence I suggest you start with the basics and easier stuff. Regards, Colonestarrice (talk) 08:42, 8 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi to both, I moved the discussion from [[Wikipedia_talk:Good_articles]] to Wikipedia_talk:Good_article_nominations#New_reviewer_issue. Thanks Mujinga (talk) 08:21, 9 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Tiago Niemayer, I have reverted all three of your GA reviews as being very far from sufficient and the articles themselves as needing work before they are Good Articles; it's clear that you do not understand how to apply the Good Article criteria for reviews or have enough experience of Wikipedia. I echo what the others have said: this is not something you're ready to do. BlueMoonset (talk) 21:39, 9 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
