Why is the article 'Ball tongue' removing to the article 'Korn (album)' ?? Ball tongue is a song of this album, it has nothing to do with the album himself ! There's a link between the two one, but it's not Ball Tongue = Korn (album)...Is someone agreeing with this ?

Well, I can't think of much other use for Ball Tongue, so I see now harm in the redirect, unless you can think of a reason? ie a user typing that in is indeed likely to be looking for the track by Korn.

We often have redirects from music tracks that have no article of their own, redirecting users to articles on the band that mention the track.

Redirects don't cost anything, so I don't see any point in removing it.

(e/c) It is redirected there, and the reason is that this was the result of the deletion debate for the article. As can be seen, the existing article did not have sufficient sources for a stand-alone article and it was redirected to the album until such time as there are sufficient reliable sources to verify an article. Well, I agree with this system, I just don't find it very...precise. For example, I looked at first, after the redirection, if the album hadn't two names (Korn and Ball Tongue), like the album of Metallica, which has two names : Metallica and the Black Album =-/ Vampirerabbit (talk) 12:22, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

We use redirects for many more things other than alternate names. It is a common method of preserving a name (meaning it won't be a redlink) for a target name that we don't want to have an article at, or where an article existed but it wasn't proper and it is likely to be recreated, or we want to preserve the page history of a former article that we would otherwise delete, or to preserve a former article name as an access target that has been moved to a correct or better name. If you familiarize yourself with how page histories work, you can find out yourself why something was redirected by going into the history of the redirect. To access the redirect, and thus its history, navigate to the page using the redirected name and you'll see at the top "redirected from ____". Clicking that will give you access. Hi... Here we can see that the single Moving to New york is released under 14th Floor Records, but in the right table it's written "Label - 14th Floor"
Here it's written "Label - 14th Floor Records"

Album Cover

Hi, I found the cover of the EP Dudebox (that isn't on Wikipedia), but I don't know anything about how posting it, or if it's under a copyright or not, etc... I'd need some help, thanks =DVampirerabbit (talk) 12:56, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi,

It is certainly under copyrights, but you can nonetheless upload it (use Wikipedia:Upload or the "Upload file" link in the left toolbox) as "A cover or other page from a book, DVD, newspaper, magazine, or other such source" under the fair use rationale. Please take the greatest care while choosing the License that will apply in the drop-down list (I guess it will be an "Album or single cover").
