asami sato image - cheating a little bit

In the jpg version of the pic I edited, I also kind of faded Bumi a bit so that he's less of a distraction - check the differences in colour levels. Of course unless Sandstein changes their mind it won't matter, but if we do end up back on that image somehow, I'd like to do the same thing again. I see, that's why Asami seemed more in focus! Clever :) If I had one thing to note, it'd be that the edge of her hair on the left seems to have been blurred a bit as well (or perhaps that's because of the JPG compression). Other than that I'd be fine with applying the same change to the PNG image if we were to make a final version. I assumed you'd like this image given that you liked the one for Korra, and I have to say it's quickly become my preferred screencap as well. I think it kind of shows the character the way Bryke had intended her to look. It's not typical Asami, but what is a typical Asami anyway? She's a multi-layered character and you can't capture everything about her in just one screencap. But I'd just like something that doesn't reinforce the image that Asami is a "boring" character. --Vaerith (talk) 01:26, 17 January 2015 (UTC)

Me too. But we'll have to get to consensus on that and.... I don't know what we'll need to do that. Oh, and yeah, the softer line on her hair on the left (viewer left) was an artefact of cleaning up pixelation. Some original, some I aheh accidentally caused and would know better next time. Besides, with a PNG I'd have less of that to do so wouldn't make that mistake again anyway. Probably. XD Solarbird (talk) 06:43, 17 January 2015 (UTC)
