[edit]Hello, I'm Patient Zero. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Draft:Public Health Film Society seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. PatientZero talk 11:19, 30 May 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not move your draft into namespace yourself. The point of Articles for Creation is that a reviewer can do that. My name isnotdave (talk/contribs) 16:31, 22 July 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. 17:22, 22 July 2017 (UTC)

Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Uthoang. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Draft:Public Health Film Festival, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 21:15, 23 July 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Ridgeway (London) moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Ridgeway (London), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. Hi Uthaoang. I have restored the redirect at International Public Health Film Competition. I did this action as part of new page patrol and which reflects the article for deletion discussion. Let me know by leaving a message on my talk page or pinging me here if I can answer questions about this process for you. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 20:22, 5 November 2018 (UTC)
Hi Barkeep49, I acknowledge the copyright issues regarding the last version of this page and have made significant alterations to the wording of the page to address these comments. However I think that the International Public Health Film Competition is still notable in its own right and deserves to have a page separately from the Public Health Film Festival
- I've restored it as well per the AFD outcome. If you wish to contest it, you will need to discuss it on the talk page and gain consensus. Praxidicae (talk) 20:50, 5 November 2018 (UTC)
- Actually I would suggest given the recent outcome you could protest it at deletion review but simply restoring the content is disruptive. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 20:55, 5 November 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you for your helpful suggestion Barkeep49, I will go ahead with a deletion review
- Actually I would suggest given the recent outcome you could protest it at deletion review but simply restoring the content is disruptive. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 20:55, 5 November 2018 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of International Public Health Film Competition/Temp
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on International Public Health Film Competition/Temp, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
