An extra resource for you
Where WP does not allow things because it is an encyclopaedia, at Train Spotting World we include trams and tramways, and allow much less rigorously policed articles, and inckude opinion, spotting reports, etc. If this is a useful extra resource for your Trams WikiProject we'll be very happy to see you and your members there. We've already helped WikiProject Thomas out, for example. Fiddle Faddle 08:54, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:C2c logo.PNG
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:C2c logo.PNG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ACBest 22:36, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

Northern "line"?
Hi Unisouth, Well, wish not to make such a big issue of this, but I just want to leave a thumbnail to a pic I took of a Northern line train at East Finchley a few weeks ago, and leave you to make your mind up (other "exhibits" are available!):

Wikipedia:WikiProject London Transport to do list
Hi. I have noticed that you added a request for LU articles to be renamed back to "Northern Line" etc using capital letters. However I don't think this request is necessary as there is still an ongoing discussion, with no clear consensus, as to which is the correct format. Refer to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject London Transport#Naming of lines and Wikipedia talk:WikiProject UK Railways#London Transport line renaming. Thanks. Tbo 157(talk) 17:17, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
- I just thought I'd let you know that I have removed that request for the reason given above. If you disagree, feel free to contact me or start a discussion on the project talk page. Thanks. Tbo 157(talk) 17:36, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Peters (food)
A tag has been placed on Peters (food), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per speedy deletion criterion A7.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. jonny-mt(t)(c) 07:26, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
Redirect of Peters Bakery
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Peters Bakery, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Peters Bakery is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Peters Bakery, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Stratford DLR (again?)
Which is the new footbridge you mention in "to do"? best, Sunil060902 (talk) 15:50, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
- Got your message. As far as I can see it is not in place. You have to go under the Central line (and GER if eastbound) platforms and get to the main concourse then go up to mezzanine level to get to the DLR! Where did you get this info? best, Sunil060902 (talk) 16:18, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, just did a google on it and it seems it did open at the same time as the second DLR platform. Will take a pic tonight (light permitting) or tomorrow morning, best, Sunil060902 (talk) 17:02, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
- Hello again! Did you want something like this? Night-time shot so not the best! Sunil060902 (talk) 00:49, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- Hi OK, may have to wait till tomorrow morning for the full footbridge, had delays this morning and couldn't alight from the Central line. Note that the platform on the right of the pic is actually One Great Eastern. best Sunil060902 (talk) 11:19, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- I took a shot looking east towards the footbridge from the western end of platform 5 (Great Eastern) this morning. Taking a shot from platform 3 (Central line) would include an out-building obscuring part of the bridge. I think the front end of a Central line train is just visible in the picture I took - but will have to wait until tonight to upload it. best, Sunil060902 (talk) 11:56, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- Is this any good? Taken Thurday 13th looking east. best, Sunil060902 (talk) 00:50, 14 December 2007 (UTC)

Interested...?
Hi Unisouth,
I have noticed that you are very involved with WP:LT, and wondered if you would be interested in starting a similar project just for trains over at Train Spotting World ([1]). Many WP editors now help over there: User:Timtrent, User:EdJogg, User:Slambo, User:S.C.Ruffeyfan, and User:Tbo 157 to name a few!
Let me know here or there if you're interested!
Thanks,

- Just wondered if you were still interested! We need a lot of help at the moment with the Workforces - let me know! Thanks, Bluegoblin7 18:52, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
