- Hi.
- There is a source for the edit I made (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-62068930). Boris Johnson has resigned from the leadership and no longer has powers within the party. He however, is still the Prime Minister until the vacancy is leadership is filled and the sovereign appoints them as the new Prime Minister.
- I'm unsure as how to proceed. It seems there is a fight on the page as to if he is still leader or not, though multiple sources report he is not. A comment was added by someone saying he doesn't resign until october (though there's no mention of october anywhere, the timeframe for the leadership contest hasn't even been released), though he has already resigned from leader (just not PM).
- Help would be appreciated. UltraaaDev (talk) 19:24, 7 July 2022 (UTC)
- Hi UltraaaDev, thank you very much for the detailed explanation and the source. I think the best way to proceed is to discuss this at Talk:Boris Johnson. Do feel free to copy your message, or its central points, there. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 20:23, 7 July 2022 (UTC)
2023 Waverley Borough Council election moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, 2023 Waverley Borough Council election, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 12:14, 2 March 2023 (UTC)
- Why is the Waverley article not notable but the other local elections, which are essentially the same, are? UltraaaDev (talk) 12:38, 2 March 2023 (UTC)
