Strange inclusions

Hi,

Why are userboxes regarding "This user is a Jedi/Sith here?" Or ones regarding Santa Claus. Neither of those are related to the topic of the page "Userboxes/religion." They should be moved, IMO.

Dual sections

Why do we have two sections dealing with Abrahamic religions, among others? May I suggest we consolidate "religions" and "interests," since many userboxes seem to be duplicated or misplaced between the two? --Joe Sewell (talk) 16:21, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

Come on, is it that politically incorrect to say "I'm Christian"? Why don't we ban people saying that they're Australian, as if I were from a different race I might... I don't know! If someone is offended by someone mearly stating what they believe, not saying what they believe is better than others, then what are they doing on the internet? In fact, what are they doing outside of a closet? Because that's the only place you could possibly survive if "harsh" statements like those hurt you. New Religions Sections

The introduction to this section claims the following religions are often inspired by older religions. Not only does this seem rather superfluous, but all the Userboxes following are... Pastafarian. I was attempting to edit this article: Many Pagan and Ancient Greek etc.-related religions were categorized incorrectly, and a few userboxes were listed twise, and the same category and the same religon was listed as a separate category up to three times. I also was avoiding "other" categories. I've been editing for 6 hours and it's stil not done!!! I started crying! The listed as I was typing into Notepad is below, someone please finish it!!!! I have categorized up to the end of the second time Judaism is listed as a category; the section below it is "Islam". Some larger categories may need further breakdown, such as Christianity, though I am not sure if subheading go that small. interest vs belief

Is the separation of "interest/expertise" userboxes from those expressing "belief" more confusing than helpful? Maybe it would be better to simply alphabetize based on the subject, and put interest and belief boxes together. ⇔ ChristTrekker 17:26, 23 May 2012 (UTC)

I think it is useful. If a user wants to express that they are able or willing to collaborate on articles about a particular religion, an interest/expertise userbox is much more informative and useful than one that expresses belief. -- Black Falcon ^(talk) 05:56, 28 June 2012 (UTC)

two ‘Other spiritual and mystical beliefs and philosophies’ sections?!

There are two ‘Other spiritual and mystical beliefs and philosophies’ sections. Why? I made userboxes (below) fitting those areas but don't know where to put them. Pythagoreanism was mysticism; Platonism included a theology (and a University of Manchester PhD professor found an atheist message encoded in Plato's texts,) and the later versions, Neopythagoreanism & Neoplatonism are considered religious/mystical/esoteric, besides philosophy. So, various mystics & Hellenists (whether polytheist, Platonic theist, atheist,) would look for these.

Why here?

Is there any reason the religion userboxes are at User:UBX/Userboxes/Religion rather than Wikipedia:Userboxes/Religion? All the other userboxes are in Wikipedia:Userboxes. Why not religion? Yours aye,  Buaidh  04:49, 16 October 2017 (UTC)
