Disambiguation link notification for February 13
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Flora of Madagascar, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Palm and Plantain (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Thank you, and the others mentioned, for the article about "a well known (among mushroom enthusiasts) family of fungi which also has considerable ecological importance. I boldly submit this as my first FAC, after expanding it over the last months, with much appreciated help from Sasata, Circeus, and Casliber, and having passed a GA review. The article draws on a wide range of different sources, most of them research articles. This is partly due to the fact that the family's taxonomy has changed a lot over the last years, which is not yet reflected in many standard mycology works and field guides." Extra congrats to your first TFA! I hope you enjoy the day, - I'll keep watching it, as every day ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:56, 25 June 2018 (UTC)

Thank you for the article about plants in the "land of the 900 orchids, the baobabs, the spiny thickets, and the traveller's tree, which suffers so much economically and ecologically, deserves a decent article on its flora! Smooth newt scheduled for TFA
[edit]This is to let you know that the Smooth newt article has been scheduled as today's featured article for October 22, 2021. Please check the article needs no amendments. If you're interested in editing the main page text, you're welcome to do so at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/October 22, 2021, but note that a coordinator will trim the lead to around 1000 characters anyway, so you aren't obliged to do so.
For Featured Articles promoted recently, there will be an existing blurb linked from the FAC talk page, which is likely to be transferred to the TFA page by a coordinator at some point.
We suggest that you watchlist Wikipedia:Main Page/Errors from the day before this appears on Main Page. Thanks! Jimfbleak - talk to me? 13:56, 12 September 2021 (UTC)
