Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Dublin Airport may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s and 1 "{}"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 17:19, 23 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – McDonnell Douglas KC-10 Extender. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Edit warring at Fingal

Stop icon This is your last warning. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Fingal, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Murry1975 (talk) 21:57, 14 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Murry1975 (talk) 22:00, 14 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

Your recent editing history at [[:Gaelic football]] shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Please discuss all future changes to the article at Talk:Gaelic_football to achieve WP:Consensus. Blethering Scot 22:55, 5 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Im not interested in debating the issue, I'm totally impartial. However you cannot edit war and must discuss at this Talk page before doing any further reverts, that would include providing actual evidence of this. It seem's you have had plenty of warning regarding the matter already.Blethering Scot 17:17, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I am not interest ether with a debating issue I am just want to have the right information up ,your right and i am right .

Empire vs kingdom

[edit]

Hey, just wanted to clarify something: the Gaels never really had an empire because to have one they would have to have had control of several different countries at the same point in time. They had kingdoms, but none that were large and in control enough of any specific area to qualify as an empire. The term "empire" is used quite liberally nowadays to signify any anything someone controls. Basically if I were to use it properly in today's society, let's say John owns one restaurant chain. It's a big company, but more akin to a kingdom since that's all he owns. But if he owns several restaurant chains (say McDonald's, Quiznos, and Blimpies, among multiple others) then that would be considered an empire. Although if there was a Gael Empire and you were shown proof of this existence, you would need to show the sources you got this information from. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistent disruptive editing, of several kinds. Despite several blocks for edit warring you still continue to edit war, as you have been doing recently at Gaelic football and at McDonnell Douglas DC-10. You have continued your attempts to impose your view of how Irish counties should be recorded in articles, despite the fact that it must have long since been evident to you that your view is against consensus. You also seem to sometimes lack an understanding of what you are doing, as in your edits to the info box at McDonnell Douglas DC-10, where giving the parameter "retired" the value "passenger" makes no sense. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 14:24, 25 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

This is unfair.my reason on dc 10 all I was trying to do was say that it's retired on passenger flights ,I never knew it was being deleted because it made no sense ,nobody told me that it made no sense and just got block and I do not do disrupting editing and I do not vandalise ,all I am trying to do is put the right information ,what I do,in the Irish counties I was putting the right information ,how do I know I am irish and there's only 32 counties not 36 and back then I was only new and didn't know about unblocking and not a lot about and still don't because a all the time of being blocked even though I didn't do anything wrong .do you know what it's like to be blocked for putting the right information on and being accused of vandalising I fell like I have know rights to edit .with the counties between 90% and 99% of Irish people should agree on the counties and with gealic football in Irish Is gealach peil but short is peile not peil I know ,ask a person from a Gaeltacht what is the Irish for football and day whoud say peile and maybe peil ,please unblock me I will be more careful next time ,hope you a good dayI—DoRD (talk) 16:40, 2 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. —DoRD (talk) 16:48, 2 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
