Nuclear fuel cycle
[edit]Hello, would you care to comment on a diagram added by ENV-R at nuclear fuel. Thanks. 69.129.195.170 14:14, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Hey, you added an image to the article on the London and Paris Conference but it doesnt work. I removed it but if you could add an image that would be a great addition to the article. Thanks -- Jieagles (talk) 23:27, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, I know, the file was removed from Commons on a technicality (it's use was not allowed in advertising and some other uses). I'll keep my eyes open if I find something else. --Tungsten (talk) 12:33, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
1988 presidential elections in Finland
[edit]Could you check the results you are using. There seems to be differences with the official results which I have added to the finnish wikipedia. The numbers in your sources might be partial or of the first count.--Ap4k (talk) 11:52, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
- Hmmm, I'll see what I can do... I think the originals are better, though. Those can be used if nothing else turns out. After all, I'm using a secondary source. Tungsten (talk) 11:59, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
Finland
[edit]Hey. It has been proposed that the sections you added to Finland should be removed or moved to more appropriate articles. You might like to comment on Talk:Finland#Length. Prolog (talk) 15:52, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks, will comment. --Tungsten (talk) 08:17, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
Panic of 1890 and Argentina
[edit]I reverted your addition to the article Panic of 1890 because "the picture does not relate to any of the article text". That doesn't mean that your caption statement isn't true. It's just that there is no text in the article about the panic's effects on Argentina. I looked around WP for an article about Argentina where your picture might be appropriate, but couldn't find any reference to economic hardships specifically related to the Panic of 1890. The article needs expansion - maybe you can find a source and add some text, along with the picture? WCCasey (talk) 19:32, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
- Hi! I returned the picture and elaborated the section about Argentina. I hope the article is clearer now. --Tungsten (talk) 14:11, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
- I have a suggestion regarding your interest in this topic. The article 'History of Argentina' currently contains no information about the 1890s crisis. Adding a section to that article, with your picture and a link back to 'Panic of 1890', would be a big improvement to both articles. WCCasey (talk) 18:10, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
- Done. :) --Tungsten (talk) 12:06, 17 December 2010 (UTC)

The article Alex MacLean has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Can find no indenpent media references to the subject other than in promotional web sites and publications.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Wkharrisjr (talk) 20:08, 20 September 2012 (UTC)
Added source, thus removing grounds for deletion. There are no promotional references, unless you consider personal webpage or bibliography that. Other than that, there is a reference to a web art magazine and a public museum. --Tungsten (talk) 06:43, 22 October 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for November 8
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Wi-Fi, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page John O'Sullivan (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Speedy deletion nomination of Achim Leistner
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Achim Leistner requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Survey Invite
[edit]I'm working on a study of political motivations and how they effect editing. I'd like to ask you to take a survey. The survey should take 5 minutes. Your survey responses will be kept private. Our project is documented at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Research:Wikipedia_%2B_Politics.
I am asking you to participate in this study because you are a frequent editor of pages on Wikipedia that are of political interest. We would like to learn about your experiences in dealing with editors of different political orientations.
Sincere thanks for your help! Porteclefs (talk) 22:20, 22 June 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Orphaned non-free image File:OakRidgeSeal.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:OakRidgeSeal.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited One Blackfriars, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ian Simpson. [edit]Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Alternative approaches to redefining the kilogram into Achim Leistner. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 00:04, 23 April 2022 (UTC)
