Disambiguation link notification for April 30
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of 20th Century Fox television programs, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page FX (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Hello, I'm Magnolia677. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Washington Heights, Manhattan, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 19:59, 23 February 2020 (UTC)
Under the demographics section is where I got the information. Therefore if my edit was inaccurate then that section is 2. Plus the fact that the percentages add up to 70-80% doesn't show the total estimate of the population. Tropetroop29 (talk) 20:03, 23 February 2020 (UTC)

TikTok dance moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, TikTok dance, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Speedy deletion nomination of The Fandom Menace
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on The Fandom Menace requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, society, or group that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Nomination of The Fandom Menace for deletion
[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article The Fandom Menace is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Fandom Menace until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Praxidicae (talk) 11:40, 11 July 2020 (UTC)
Updating the page is completely fine. But to keep having it deleted even though credible sources are named is unnecessary. The same can be said from when comicsgate and gamergate has their pages. Especially when the topic was under the cultural impact of Star Wars which has became a giant topic in the fandom. Also the Star Wars Fandom page whom a person deleted the section of it. Want more sources, that's fine but to keep having people delete it with their own biases in mind is not acknowledging those parts of the fandom's topics. Tropetroop29 (talk) 11:48, 11 July 2020 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Facebook&Instagram:
[edit]Hello Tropetroop29,
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Arthistorian1977, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Facebook&Instagram: for deletion, because it appears to be about something that you or someone you know personally invented, coined, or discovered, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important and/or recognized enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.
For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Arthistorian1977}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~

Hi there,
The page was actually supposed to be titled #Graduation2020. But for some reason it wouldn't title it that way.
So I put Facebook&Instagram: #Graduation2020.It cut off.
Nice to meet you but this greeting is a bit off because instead of messaging me about it, you were up and ready to take it down.
So your approach is very bittersweet. Not sure if you wanted to come off, which is a first impression.
If this needs to be deleted it can. If anything #Graduation 2020 is what it's supposed to be called. Which is why sources aren't listed yet.
Anyway take care and remember I have the talk section on my page.

Speedy deletion nomination of Kenneth Moton
[edit]Hello Tropetroop29,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Kenneth Moton for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

Speedy deletion nomination of Team 10 Youtube
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Team 10 Youtube, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
Cool then let's delete Vlog Squad, Hype House and every other collective group on this site that has a page. Because they can be promoted just as hard.
You're completely biased. I never even said I promoted this group at all. You assumed that, says a lot about your character. Tropetroop29 (talk) 23:10, 22 September 2020 (UTC)

Ok Adam. I did have more references listed but it has been erased. Isnt any news source a good source for the topic or does it has to be a specific website? Tropetroop29 (talk) 01:06, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
- Sources need to be reliable, and independent or third-party, and they should discuss the subject beyond a mere trivial mention. Some news sources actually do not fit these requirements. There's actually a list of sources whose reliability has been repeatedly discussed, but it is not exhaustive. Adam9007 (talk) 01:21, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
