Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. [edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Viet Nam Quoc Dan Dang. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Nishkid64 (Make articles, not wikidrama) 02:54, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you don't unrevert, I'll ask for you to be blocked. YellowMonkey (click here to vote for world cycling's #1 model!) 02:58, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Neutral Point of View and Bias

[edit]

Neutral Point of View http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:NPOV The neutral point of view is a means of dealing with conflicting verifiable perspectives on a topic as evidenced by reliable sources. The policy requires that where multiple or conflicting perspectives exist within a topic each should be presented fairly. None of the views should be given undue weight or asserted as being judged as "the truth", in order that the various significant published viewpoints are made accessible to the reader, not just the most popular one. It should also not be asserted that the most popular view, or some sort of intermediate view among the different views, is the correct one to the extent that other views are mentioned only pejoratively. Readers should be allowed to form their own opinions. The neutral point of view is neither sympathetic nor in opposition to its subject: it neither endorses nor discourages viewpoints. As the name suggests, the neutral point of view is a point of view, not the absence or elimination of viewpoints. The elimination of article content cannot be justified under this policy on the grounds that it is "POV". Article content should clearly describe, represent, and characterize disputes within topics, but without endorsement of any particular point of view. Articles should provide background on who believes what and why, and which view is more popular; detailed articles might also contain evaluations of each viewpoint, but must studiously refrain from taking sides.

Bias

Neutrality requires views to be represented without bias. All editors and all sources have biases (in other words, all editors and all sources have a point of view) — what matters is how we combine them to create a neutral article. One can think of unbiased writing as the fair, analytical description of all relevant sides of a debate, including the mutual perspectives and the published evidence. When editorial bias toward one particular point of view can be detected, the article needs to be fixed.[1] --69.181.119.145 (talk) 03:16, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Editing Policy

[edit]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Editing_policy Wikipedia is the product of thousands of editors' contributions. Everyone has brought something different to the table: researching skills, technical expertise, writing prowess, tidbits of information, or even just a willingness to help. Even the best of our articles should never be considered complete; each new editor may offer new insights about how to further enhance our content. --69.181.119.145 (talk) 03:16, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

User Block

[edit]
You have been blocked from editing for a short time in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule at Viet Nam Quoc Dan Dang. Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below. Kevin (talk) 03:20, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have complied and been doing per Alex's suggestions. I don't think YellowMonkey is reasonable. --Trinhbaongoc (talk) 03:35, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't look too deeply, because edit warring is never the appropriate solution. Kevin (talk) 03:49, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:MinhMang royal ordinance 1.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:MinhMang royal ordinance 1.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

Russian translation

[edit]

Hi, Ngoc! Sorry for the delayed response; I am usually not on-wiki during the weekends and holidays (and the past three days were both). Do you still need help with this? I usually decline translation requests due to never having enough time for them, but this particular petition doesn't look too long, and as long as you don't need it urgently, I can probably do it within a week or so. Will that work for you? Cheers,—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); July 6, 2010; 14:09 (UTC)

I have sent the translation to this email address this morning. Please let me know if you have any questions. Best,—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); July 19, 2010; 14:27 (UTC)
