I wrote the original Jaz Banga article in 2011 and it was edited by others. It is not autobiographical. One of the editors who recommended the page for deletion said that they thought it would be acceptable if I re-created the page. I'm currently editing it so it conforms to Wikipedia standards and contains more neutral language. TrinaMark (talk) 19:17, 27 February 2016 (UTC)

New Information on Mr. Banga
[edit]I haven't maintained this page, but there are new citations that could be included. I suggest that Jaz Banga's participation in a recent White House tech summit and the ensuing press coverage justifies his inclusion in Wikipedia.

Hi, I'm curious if you are affiliated with Jaz Banga in any way? K.e.coffman (talk) 18:42, 24 June 2017 (UTC)
Hi, that's a fair question. I know him through tech industry acquaintances. I've written for tech publications in the past and encountered Mr. Banga when I lived in Silicon Valley, although I currently live in the Midwest and don't write tech news at the moment. If it helps, I don't work for him and I'm not related to him. It also appears that other people have edited this article since I wrote it. (talk)

A tag has been placed on Jaz Banga, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. (See section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) If a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
