Fake "protection" of pages
[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Human values. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. andy (talk) 15:25, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
- The same goes for your recent addition of "Keep" to the article. Please add your comments to the deletion debate and do not make unconstructive edits to articles. andy (talk) 15:50, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
Editing an AFD to change the values is absolutely vandalism (and it won't work). It will, however, get you blocked. PHARMBOY (moo) (plop) 18:38, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
- The ignorance of the laws does not refreins oneself from its aplication, this is why Justice is not Automatic. What is my point?
The freedom of any individual to contribute to global society is an intrisic right that it can not be given or taken away, is the individual responsability to follow the process stablished in the society to break trough. All proceses require a relative time; and is precisely that time we respect not in the favor of the individual making the contribution but in the favor of our existance.--Tonymynd (talk) 19:03, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
- You don't have an intrinsic right to publish any article you want on Wikipedia, no matter how poetic you wax about it. While I can appreciate your idealism, in the real world, we have to play nice with others. Wikipedia isn't a street corner where your first amendment rights mean anything (see No Original Research). Besides, you don't WP:OWN that article. Read the GFDL license that is used on Wikipedia. You don't even own how your own words are used. More importantly, please read WP:five pillars. These are the only 5 "hard coded" rules on Wikipedia, and the entire reason why it exists. PHARMBOY (moo) (plop) 19:38, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Humanity Manifest Destiny
[edit]An article that you have been involved in editing, Humanity Manifest Destiny, has been listed for deletion. If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Humanity Manifest Destiny. Thank you. Humanity Manifest Destiny
[edit]Just so we are clear: I !voted to keep the article because I think the concept is a valid one, that many humans think we own outerspace (we obviously don't). If it turns into something about how it really IS our manifest destiny to colonize (ie: a religious thing) then you can bet I will be the first to revert or delete. It must be NPOV, and can't condone the idea that this is "correct". PHARMBOY (moo) (plop) 19:57, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
- Bravo! finally someone with wisdom!
Speedy deletion of Self Species Extermination Event
[edit]A tag has been placed on Self Species Extermination Event, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. -- IRP ☎ 01:18, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

Your article submission Electrical Designer
