Toni help me please to redo a page on agrobiodiversity

dear Toni

Two years ago you came to Bioversity in Rome, organized by Marta Millere, and trained us in being Wiki editors. I have never heard the word Fatberg since then without thinking of you. I was meant to immediately recraft the current page on line on agricultural biodiversity as it is a bit of a mess, with no structure and a lot of POV. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agricultural_biodiversity

However, then one thing after another happened and i didn't do it. So here we are now almost 2 years later and i am resolved to it. But i will need support. Can i rest on you? I recall that there are various options for getting help. i don't want to do anything fancy, just nice plain clear text with links to references to substantiate facts.

I got as far as inviting other users if they wanted to give me a hand in the Talk on the page. But no one replied. That was 2 years ago. Before that, the page hadn't been worked on for about ten years. Does that give me free rein to do what i feel is necessary to whip the page into shape? For example if i delete the POV stuff or shorten text to make it into examples? and completely restructure it? I have started to draft something more structured and linear in my Sandbox. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:ArwenIncognito/sandbox Can i then simply substitute the old page with this one once i have written it?

Grateful for any advice you can give me

Thank you ArwenIncognito (talk) 13:07, 30 January 2020 (UTC)

Hello @ArwenIncognito: - thank you very much for contacting me. I saw your message just as I was preparing to give similar workshop in Avignon at the GenTree conference with @Ewa hermanowicz:. I'm sorry I didn't manage to get back to you promptly. The last couple of weeks have been quite crazy.
Everything you've done so far is perfect. I am not surprised that no one replied on the Talk Page. Please don't be discouraged by this lack of engagement on the talk page. Some subjects like Agricultural biodiversity are rather specialized and most people don't really have much to contribute to them.
I see you've done some excellent work! Well done for being bold.
Let me know if I can be of any further assistance. Good luck! --ToniSant (talk) 19:17, 18 February 2020 (UTC)
Thank you TonySant (talk)
i did feel bold. Now i'm going to try to remove the box from the top and add some pictures. Funny you were with GenTree -- Barbara said it was great! all the best. ArwenIncognito (talk) 14:50, 3 March 2020 (UTC)
Yes, @ArwenIncognito:, Avignon was really fantastic! We managed to get a lot of Wikipedia training done there and next we're at EFI in Bonn to do some more Wiki training for the team there.
The maintenance box at the top of the page you've been editing is completely out of date and unnecessary now, thanks to you. I'll let you have the great satisfaction of removing it. And some pictures, as you mentioned, will help the page even more. Keep up the great work! What's next after this? -- ToniSant (talk) 14:57, 3 March 2020 (UTC)

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:30, 24 November 2020 (UTC)
