- Worked on the code which propagates page moves from the clients into Wikidata as a preparation for allowing page deletions to appear on Wikidata
- Made the Wikibase extension work with the new “Compact language links” Beta feature and a bit more independent from the UniversalLanguageSelector in general
- The student team working on the entity suggester has finished the first version of it. The code is being reviewed now and is hopefully ready for deployment soon. Once it is deployed it will show you what new properties you could add to an item.

Reports may have been exaggerated?
In regards to this edit, shouldn't we have some kind of sourcing for this? Isn't there a policy to prevent mistakes being made? If this was true, the LA Times will likely mention something in another day or so. Chris Troutman (talk) 06:21, 10 April 2014 (UTC)
- I have an off-wiki notification from a close friend of Adrianne. I have every reason to believe it is true. —Tom Morris (talk) 06:27, 10 April 2014 (UTC)

Precious
clear thoughts cleanly expressed
Thank you, Tom, for quality articles "covering all sorts of things", for welcoming users and dealing with articles for deletion, for telling us who runs Wikipedia (we do) and fighting delusions, all with "a taste for clear thoughts being cleanly expressed", even for saddest news, - you are an awesome Wikipedian!
Thank you for the kind words, Gerda. My experience of Wikipedia has gotten a lot better since I tried to start rigidly adhering to this advice and just writing content when I find Wikipedia to be lacking. I now have a big blue notebook on my kitchen table filled with sources I need to dig out to improve Wikipedia, and I'm hoping at some point this year to get an article through the GA process. It's constantly astounding how much work there still is to do; it is reassuring that someone notices. —Tom Morris (talk) 06:57, 11 April 2014 (UTC)
- I remember my first GA endeavour, not my own article but PumpkinSky's, then blocked. I would happily avoid drama if my friends didn't get blocked and banned ;) - I wrote He was despised. Did you know WP:Great Dismal Swamp? - GA is not difficult if you have a "small" topic which you can cover completely. - Back to a new opera which I mentioned on DYK and thought should have an article, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:13, 11 April 2014 (UTC)
