Hi. Real simple...just introduce yourself, tell us what are your hobbies, where were you born, etc. Also, Wikipedia:Userboxes will show you how to create one. Just anything that describess you. Hope this helps! Snoozlepet (talk) 20:36, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

Yep, it is correct. The WP:AIRPORTS editor consensus was to merge the tables together. If you check the majority of the airport tables, you can see that they are all merged together. Regards! Snoozlepet (talk) 04:40, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages, as you did to Microsoft Flight Simulator. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" is against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. MSFS Podcast Section
As you may notice just above my answer here, I'm not the only one to think they (at least) looked actually like advertising. Slasher-fun (talk) 19:45, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
- Tofutwitch, I don't have a serious objection to the fact that these services are mentioned in an appropriate part of the article (and with appropriate prominence given their importance to the overall subject), but even if your contribution wasn't "advertising" it was highly non-neutral POV, which is against anyone's interpretation of Wikipedia's rules. It was sufficiently overt that it resembled spam and Slasher-fun rightfully deleted it. It's irrelevant that you're not part of the organisation - you can still advertise or promote it, and you most certainly did - the actual rules are no POV or advertising by anyone regardless of connection to an organisation, and with further guidance that if you were connected to the organisation you should avoid editing anything about it at all, not just not promote it. As you said on Slasher-fun's talk page, you didn't favour one above the other - but you favoured these two over any other.
- Moving forward, it may be appropriate to mention that these services exist, along with stats on number of users and how long they've been running to show that these are the most notable such services. You said one had a "long great history since January 2009" - that doesn't sound very long in the scheme of MSFS, and who's to say it's "great"?! The MSFS article has been subject to a lot of excessive linking, so in the past, usage (eg using the Alexa website traffic tool) has been used as a non-arguable, independent baseline for determining notability - not the subjective view of how good they are. You would need to agree to the basis that if other similar services are actually more popular, these two would likely be removed. And if it turns out only a tiny proportion of the FS community uses them, then they shouldn't be included at all. Regards, Halsteadk (talk) 12:55, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
RE:MinuteClinic
There was nothing wrong with the article itself. It appeared that you were experimenting with the file formats and messages because they were changed from SVG to JPG and back SVG. If this was not the case, I apologize for the message. EWikistTalk 14:53, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
- (In response to this.) There was nothing wrong with what you did. From recent changes point of view, it looked like you were testing things. Remember, even if the page isn't visited often, all edits pop up on the recent changes page, so, out of context, your edits may seem problematic (even though they weren't). Using the edit summary will help keep this from happening. EWikistTalk 15:03, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
File source and copyright licensing problem with File:BDL JULY 2010.png
Thanks for uploading File:BDL JULY 2010.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 11:14, 25 July 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 11:14, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

Rollback decline
Hi Tofutwitch11,
I have declined your request for rollback rights at this time, based largely on your edit summaries which are frequently in a tone that is less than friendly. Don't take this as a judgement against your efforts or potential, as my first attempt at gaining admin rights failed for the same reason. Show me a month or so of improved communication and I'd be happy to grant you the rollback tool. Thanks! Hiberniantears (talk) 20:05, 15 August 2010 (UTC)

Boston Virtual ATC
Regarding your question on an article for Boston Virtual ATC, apologies that I've taken so long to respond. Much of my editing is limited to the weekends these days. My primary advice would be to keep any such article objective, i.e. "Boston Virtual ATC" is a company that does XYZ. The company was founded in <year> by <founders>.". Then, if you have third party sources that are not reprocessed press releases from the company, you can use those to expand on the article and bolster the notability. Generally avoid using the company's own press releases/website to ascribe notability, but do use their materials to describe their products/services, being careful to distill any of the company's own marketing/sales language from such descriptions.
I'd be happy to take a look at the article, and encourage you to post it! I've spent much of my admin related time here working on candidates for speedy deletion, and I generally try to rework articles that are well-meaning attempts to describe a notable company. If this page is your sub-space already, I'll gladly give it a proof read and make suggested changes to give you a comparative set of drafts. Hiberniantears (talk) 15:23, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
And after a basic Google search] on the topic, it looks like you should be able to pull together at least some sources... albeit it without anything from the news section, but I think we can work with this. As a Bostonian, and business flyer, the topic is also quite interesting to me. Hiberniantears (talk) 15:29, 21 August 2010 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:RADARBVA.png
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:RADARBVA.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 12:06, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
Understood, but, number one, it was in a talk page not an article, and simply there for testing purposes. It has since been fixed, and the article has been published. Tofutwitch11 (talk) 12:18, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:BVA TowerLogo.png
Thanks for uploading File:BVA TowerLogo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk 03:31, 25 August 2010 (UTC)

After I corrected an innacuracy in Wikipedia. "The Conqueror" is inaccurate. See the entry for Swanscombe:
Norman Conquest
In 1066 Swanscombe locals massed an army in defiance of William I, and so won the right to continue their ancient privileges, including the tradition of passing inheritance by gavelkind. The men of Kent met William near Swanscombe, where the Saxons concealed their number with branches, thus intimidating the Norman army. They were offered a truce that left Kent as the only region in England which William did not conquer, and leaving William known as William the Bastard (never conqueror) in this area of England alone. Kent County Council have inherited the motto Invicta, meaning unconquered.
William was William the Bastard in Kent. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Seamanrob (talk • contribs) 00:56, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
Your edits to Gavelkind were unsourced and seemed to be vandalism. If what you are adding is true please provide a reliable source. Tofutwitch11 (TALK) 01:10, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
Apart from the Swanscombe reference from Wikipedia itself, I have http://flagspot.net/flags/gb-kent.html The "Invicta" motto is associated with the story of the Treaty of Swanscombe in 1067: according to local legend, William the Bastard, having seized the English throne, was travelling to Dover when he was met by the Cantware (the People of Kent). They demanded from him their ancient laws and rights, in which case he would have their loyalty, or else "battle most deadly". William granted the request, and Kent acceded to his reign by treaty, hence getting the motto "Invicta" (unconquered). I have lived in Kent all my life, and can vouch for the fact that William is never styled "Conqueror" by anyone native to the County. Karl Wittwer, 24 July 2004
Also from this page: http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/s/t/e/Richard-Steel/FILE/0002page.html The first historical reference to the castle is in Domesday Book, in which it is mentinned as the place where William the Conqueror signed a treaty with the Men of Kent whom he never conquered in that area.
Also this page: http://www.downlandcycles.co.uk/invicta.htm A little bit of history Invicta The "Invicta" motto is associated with the story of the Treaty of Swanscombe of 1067. According to local legend, William the Bastard, (later known as William the Conqueror), having seized the English throne was traveling to Dover.
William was met by the Cantware (the People of Kent), they demanded from him their ancient laws and rights. These stated that he would have their loyalty, or else "battle most deadly".
William granted the request, and Kent acceded to his reign by treaty, hence getting the motto "Invicta" (unconquered).
And also on a personal level, I have never referred to William as that word. He will always be the Bastard to me. And that is a reference to his parentage! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Seamanrob (talk • contribs) 01:32, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
If can provide a reliable source that he was in fact referred to as William the Bastard it will not be reverted. It seemed to constitute vandalism due to the name you put next to him. Thanks for cooperating. Tofutwitch11 (TALK) 01:35, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
Hi. Reliable source. British Monarchy website: http://www.royal.gov.uk/HistoryoftheMonarchy/KingsandQueensofEngland/TheNormans/WilliamItheConqueror.aspx
First few lines. Born around 1028, William was the illegitimate son of Duke Robert I of Normandy, and Herleve (also known as Arlette), daughter of a tanner in Falaise. Known as 'William the Bastard' to his contemporaries, his illegitimacy shaped his career when he was young. Seamanrob (talk) 01:47, 18 September 2010 (UTC)

Deletion of iFlyOnline
The template that you used says basically "please hold off on deletion until I explain on the talk page why it shouldn't be deleted". Once a message is posted on the talk page, the template is nothing more than a message of "please look at the talk page". I looked at the talk page, read your message, decided that your message wasn't a compelling enough reason to avoid deletion, and decided that the page itself really didn't demonstrate why the website was important enough to deserve coverage in an encyclopedia. Would you like me to restore the page to your userspace? Tell me and I'll be happy to do it. Nyttend (talk) 19:04, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

Reviewer permission
Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
For the guideline on reviewing, see Wikipedia:Reviewing. Being granted reviewer rights doesn't change how you can edit articles even with pending changes. The general help page on pending changes can be found here, and the general policy for the trial can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 00:35, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
Vito Mannone
All right, revert my edit if you want, I don't really mind, I'll probably never look at the page again. But that is a genuinely meaningless sentence. It is incomprehensible. Someone who knows more about Vito Mannone than I do, should look at it and either cut it or re-write it. I know you're busy, but look at it yourself. Does it make sense? No. That's all I was saying. Good luck anyway. Ewen —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.144.195.43 (talk) 19:38, 7 October 2010 (UTC)

Vandalism???
Iberia has announced that they are flying to LAX in April 2011. Why is it vandalism that I list the fact along with a press release? I would refrain from calling me vandal. I make constructive edits and have a history of correcting numerous vandalism attempts. The true vandal will be someone possibly like yourself who removes cited information and slanders other editors. Be careful with your choice of words and do not write on my page. Further attempt will be labeled "Vandalism". --XLR8TION (talk) 20:13, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
- Well, according to WP:AIRPORTS you added information to several articles that provided a month, but no specific date, and was not bookable in any system. I warned you for adding this information, after having several editors revert your edits, several times, and warn you that was not correct. I was acting appropriately in that situation, I'm sorry you don't feel that way. Tofutwitch11 (TALK) 20:32, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
I UNDERSTAND, DO WHAT EVER YOU LIKE on Mya Aye
If I fight back, the group of Wiki editors would come and punish me. If punish also no much problem. I am staying away from wiki (i.e. contributions , except for taking references) for a long time. Mya Aye IS A MUSLIM. So people are attacking him esp when her daughter recently became popular, attacking military government of Myanmar. They renewed attacking him because of his daughter's activities like attacking General Aung San because of daughter Daw Aung San Suu Kyi. But if Mya Aye, popular student leader in jail is not important, GO AND TELL NOBLE COMITTEE not to be foolish to give the Noble Peace prize to a Chinese in jail. May be we all campaign to delete all the biography from Wiki because we need to keep the deletion of Mya Aye as a bench mark. TQ, NOW PUNISH ME, WELCOME.
(Note: I wrote in anger, never edit back. There may be a lot of errors which I don't CARE.Darz kkg (talk) 06:46, 10 October 2010 (UTC)
- Well, I'm not exactly sure what happened. I went back to my contribs from the 6 October 2010, and tried to find where I put the speedy deletion tag on Mya Eye. I could not, I could only find where I put the notice on your talk page, which means A: The Page Was Deleted or B: The Page was merged with the page you see now at Mya Aye, which is why you think I put a SD tag on that page. Sorry for any confusion, Tofutwitch11 (TALK) 12:37, 10 October 2010 (UTC)
- TQ for the reply. Sorry for the misunderstanding. As a coincidence, Mya Aye's daughter, a university student in UK was very active against Myanmar Military Government and was shown on CNN, BBC, YouTube etc. As her campaingn is very effective against the gov at this imp. time of SHAM election, Military Intelligence Cyber Troopers trained in Russia, China and North Korea are attacking her calling "KALA MA" like Niggar girl. This is a derogatory word used on Muslims in Myanmar. Even Burmese Buddhists and Burmese Christians are angry with those Cybertroopers and are trying defend her. Because of her, her father's article in Wiki since 1997 is attacked. (We don't mean it is you, sorry) We Wiki cofounder came to Malaysia last week, he was preaching the Malaysian gov to stop censorship. I wrote to him as a comment in the most popular Int. Portal that what Wiki was doing is also amounting indirect censorship. You could see that my articles in Wiki were cut into multiple pieces and later merged again. While different Wiki editors are doing these, some facts are lost in action. And my edit history are also totally erased. And for the reference on these kind of dissidents it if difficult to get the written reference because their stories and even names are banned in Myanmar. You can see on BBC CNN etc. I know this is not the place for discussion like this but when I searched and put in at the last time I WAS PUNISHED for disruption ofWiki adm. I am busy working for 12-13 hr every day 363 days per year. No time to read all Wiki rules. Just trial and error only but managed to contribute quite a lot but fed up with Wiki and stopped contributing. Darz kkg (talk) 13:26, 10 October 2010 (UTC)
Mya Aye
Hi. I noticed that you added a message to Darz kkg's talk page saying that the Mya Aye article was being nominated for speedy deletion. However, you don't seem to have actually nominated it. Could you either nominate the article or explain that you've changed your mind to Darz kkg? Cordless Larry (talk) 08:40, 10 October 2010 (UTC)
- As I said to Darz kkg when I went back into my contribs to see why I placed the SD tag on the article (which it also says on the tag) I could not find the contrib, just the contrib of when I placed the note on his talk page. This means that the contrib was deleted, which generally means A: The Page was deleted or B: The page was merged with the current page you see at Mya Aye, thus thinking I placed Speedy Deletion templates on the current page. Infact, if you look at the current page, you will see I have never edited the page. The Speedy Deletion template was placed on a different page, which is no longer here. Thanks. Compare it to articles with related topics, VATSIM, IVAO. It is competent with WP:IRS They are both written in the same way. - The article lists fourteen sources, 11 of which are from the Organization's official website. The other 3 include one from the Virtual Airline's tracking client, of which anyone can join, and one which is not a source at all but rather more of a "see also" not actually providing any evidence or reporting. Encyclopedic entries in Wikipedia should only be a page if someone has done some sort of writing on it, preferably reputable news sources. I would not have nominated the article for deletion if I had found any reputable news source of study of some sort been written about it. If you look at my page that I wrote over a year ago you'll notice it was speedily deleted. Honestly I'm not sure how that relates to this. Overall I haven't found a good reason for the article to need to be included in WP. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TheFSaviator (talk • contribs) 21:56, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
- Your right. There are no news reports or anything in the media about the subject, Boston Virtual ATC. But does that mean it cannot have a Wikipedia Article? I am currently writing articles about organization similar to this, and saying that they should not be allowed to be written about is wrong. We are here to expand Wikipedia, expand this bowl of knowledge. I would not have published this article on my own, it was reviewed by administrators with thousands of edits (you have a few hundred). There is nothing majorly wrong with the article, and no underlying cause for a deletion of it. It is a well written and informational article. The information was taken from thier website insuring it was as factual as possible. Because the organization is not famous, does not mean it cannot have an article. As previously mentioned, I am writing articles of similar organizations such as this. Sorry you don't agree. Tofutwitch11 (TALK) 22:19, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
- The article is well written. I'm not disputing that. But, quoting directly from WP:Notability,
'Lack of multiple sources suggests that the topic may be more suitable for inclusion in an article on a broader topic. Mere republications of a single source or news wire service do not always constitute multiple works. Several journals simultaneously publishing articles in the same geographic region about an occurrence, does not always constitute multiple works, especially when the authors are relying on the same sources, and merely restating the same information. Specifically, several journals publishing the same article within the same geographic region from a news wire service is not a multiplicity of works.
- Wikipedia is not a sinkhole of every single thing in the universe. I never said your organization needed to be "famous", but it does need to be notable. This is the reason I put up the deletion nomination. Which admins have you checked it over with? I'd like to see what they have to say regarding this. And you forgot to remove the categorization I added along with the nomination.-|->TheFSaviator-|-> (talk) 02:02, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
- The article is well written. I'm not disputing that. But, quoting directly from WP:Notability,
- First of all, it is not my organization. Your right, there weren't any outside sources for the information, but people do speak of Boston Virtual ATC on outside public forums, discussions, etc. Because there are no news reports, or reviews does not mean it is not notable. I'm not sure if you are an active Flight Simulator X user, but, everyone who uses the multilayer functions of Flight Simulator X at least see the name of this organization, that is how I was inspired to write this article. After looking at their server in the GameSpy lobby since 2006 I decided to write this article. This article contains sources for the information in-closed, while it may be mostly from the organization itself, it is better than some articles which have one to two sources.
- The IVAO article has remained present since it was created in June 2006.
- I have placed a tag on the Boston Virtual ATC page noting that it may not abide by WP:NOTABILITY. Deletion is not the correct path to take in this place as of all the articles on Wikipedia, it provides sources none-the-less and is written in a whole and complete manner. For now this is where we should end the discussion. The tag on the page will let people know what is going on and encourage people to search and add more sources. Happy Editing. It appeared that the BA to SJU route was changed from "begins March 28" to "resumes March 28". But I decided to leave it alone until we decide for sure if this route is a resumption or not. Snoozlepet (talk) 18:47, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
- It is actually begins, what happened ten years ago does not qualify for "resumes", many routes that are "new" have operated in the past, I put the pages up for protection. Tofutwitch11 (TALK) 18:49, 24 October 2010 (UTC)

BA to SJU
Hey - I realise (for whatever reason) it is important to you to have the BA flight to SJU be classified as "begins" instead of "resumes". But there is no consensus on the way forward yet. Please do not make selective changes based on personal preferences like you did to LGW and SJU until the discussion is concluded. Violation of non-admin closure
Please do not close controversial AFDs that do not have unanimous keep consensus, per WP:NAC, as you did at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Werner Erhard vs. Columbia Broadcasting System. Hi there, I've seen what's going on on AN and I'm really not trying to pile on criticise you for your NACs but I saw Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/James Horley, which you closed "No Consensus. The article will be Kept". It was my impression that biographies of living persons were deleted when there was found to be "no consensus" at the AfD, so I would ask you please revert your close and allow an admin to close instead (that's if my understanding of BLPs and AfDs are correct, if not, please explain how I have it wrong ;) Jenks24 (talk) 03:31, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
- There is some controversy over whether no consensus on BLPs default to keep or delete, and there are examples of each that have stood the test at DRV. The WordsmithCommunicate 04:19, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
- Ok, just to clarify, I wasn't questioning the decision (I think it should have been kept), but I was just wondering about the wording that was used, as I was under the impression no consensus BLPs defaulted to delete, but thanks for clearing that up Wordsmith. Also, Tofutwitch, I apologise if I sounded a bit harsh in my first comment, I wasn't trying to question your judgment or anything, and I hope you continue to be bold ;) Jenks24 (talk) 05:22, 18 November 2010 (UTC)

Non admin closure of Kye Allums
I think your nonadmin closure of the Kye Allums afd was well outside of policy. I've re nominated it for this reason. This was way out of line for a premature closure, is hardly an easy delete on the basis of the discussion at that point, and even the more extraordinary that you would do so with a non admin closure. Shadowjams (talk) 09:19, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
- From the above it appears it's not the first time you've made a controversial non admin closure. I'd strongly suggest you refrain from any non admin closures until you throw in the hat at WP:RFA. Shadowjams (talk) 09:22, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) (from WP:AN) The correct response, then, is to take it to deletion review. Opening a second AFD on the back of a closed one is strongly discouraged and could be disruptive. I suggest withdrawing it and using the correct process. --Errant [tmorton166] (chat!) 09:48, 18 November 2010 (UTC)

I think Uncle G and others have remarked that you had the misfortune to get caught up in an ongoing dispute having something to do with those "est" chaps (you know, the ones whose idea of improvement seemed to involve spending hours on end barking insults at paying customers). In the real world, that whole affair became very ugly with very nasty accusations and writs flying and whatnot, so it's not too surprising if the temperature concerning such articles is often a little hot.
Still, you did some very straightforward closes and ran into this situation not of your own making. Things seem to have been fairly well resolved and I didn't see anything wrong with your handling of it. In fact, well done!
I hope you are not deterred from carrying out your afd work. One doesn't normally take personal disagreements like this to drama forums such as WP:AN but such occasional drama is a fact of life that we have to live with and it's experience that should stand you in good stead. I don't know you, nor have I looked at your AfD closes, but I'll say generically, if a non-admin wants to help out closing non-controversial AfDs, I want to help make that work, not dump on you for helping. I just added a suggestion, that in IMO, might solve the problem. I sensed some frustration in your recent posts, so I want to make sure you are not discouraged from helping. Hi, 11 ! I've reverted your proposed deletion of the Libetta page. I didn't write the article, but Libetta merits it: in addition to what I said in the edit summary, Libetta is the first - and so far, the only - pianist to have played all the incredibly difficult Godowsky paraphrases on Chopin's études from memory in recital, is also a composer and conductor and has an interesting and challenging discography. The man really seems to be quite out of the ordinary, and is known in the music world as such. Sure, the article could benefit from some improvements, but I hope I have convinced you to reconsider the deletion. Best regards, MUSIKVEREIN (talk) 14:37, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
- IT was a BLP with no sources; thus why I put it for deletion. If no sources are added soon; I may go to AFD. Tofutwitch11-Chat -How'd I do? 19:44, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
- Hi Tofutwich. The policy is that when considering a BLPPROD, PROD, or AfD, we must consider WP:BEFORE specially points #9, #10, and #11. For any new article that is not a blatant attack, spam, or nonsense, there is always plenty of time to do this. Remember, the most interesting stuff to patrol is at the bottom of the list almost 30 days old. And the hottest tip is: Don't be fooled by the Google results - the first results are always the social networking sites because they are huge and have extremely high page rank; the real stuff that you are looking for often does not start until page three or even four of the results. Bear all this in mind and you'll soon find yourself being able to rescue far more pages than you need to put up for some kind of deletion :) New Page Patrol is extremely important - keep up the good work! --Kudpung (talk) 16:08, 21 November 2010 (UTC)

Speedy Deletion Help
Hello Tofutwitch11. Thanks for the speedy deletion work you are doing; it's a very important activity! I did want to let you know, though, regarding Demis Courquet Lesaulnier, that current consensus holds that it is bad practice to tag articles for speedy deletion as lacking context (CSD A1) or content (CSD A3) moments after creation, as users may be actively working on the article content. Ten to fifteen minutes is considered a good time to wait before tagging such articles under either of these criteria. Please note that before an appropriate waiting period is over, the articles should not be marked as patrolled, so that the wait does not result in the article escaping review at a later time. Nothing here is meant to apply to any other criterion; attack pages and copyright violations especially should be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks. JohnCD (talk) 12:41, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
- Here is my take on that: If you are publishing an article it should be ready to go. You cannot publish a short, unreferenced, and meaningless article with the thought of slowly improving it. Makes Sense? Tofutwitch11-Chat -How'd I do? 12:47, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
- Ideally it should, but we want to encourage new users, we have a bad reputation for being unfriendly to them, and a speedy notice appearing within a minute or two of one's first edit is extremely discouraging. Nothing is lost by waiting ten or fifteen minutes. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 12:53, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
- Certainly understood....Tofutwitch11-Chat -How'd I do? 12:54, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
- Good. This is relatively a minor quibble, but A3 (no content) would be a better speedy for that article as it was, because A1 is for where it's not clear what the article is about, and in this case it was about this photographer. I have actually de-speedied this one and put notability and primarysources tags on it, but I will watch it and do something if it doesn't improve. There is good advice for speedy taggers at WP:10CSD and WP:A7M. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 13:00, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
