[edit]Hello, I'm Blakegripling ph. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Madeline (1998 film), but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Blake Gripling (talk) 15:39, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
- Okay Sorry Toby.Clarke20 (talk) 16:21, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
- Though I Don’t Know Where To Find A Source For It, I Know Hatty Jones Definitely Did Audition And Lost The Role Of Hermione Granger In The Harry Potter (Film Series) To Emma Watson. Toby.Clarke20 (talk) 16:23, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
- You can't add it if you can't find a reliable source. —El Millo (talk) 17:11, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry, but how can I find a reliable source then? Also how do I delete messages on Wikipedia? Toby.Clarke20 (talk) 17:13, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
- See WP:Reliable sources. Any news article by any reputable site is a reliable source, such as Variety or The Hollywood Reporter, since you're editing film articles. But please familiarize yourself with how this works before continuing adding stuff to articles. Also, now you may encounter unreliable sources and your content will still be reverted, and rumors are not included in Wikipedia. —El Millo (talk) 17:17, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry, but how can I find a reliable source then? Also how do I delete messages on Wikipedia? Toby.Clarke20 (talk) 17:13, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
- Okay, I won’t put that back on ever again, I refuse to. Toby.Clarke20 (talk) 18:08, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. —El Millo (talk) 17:13, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
- Okay, I won’t, I’ll never do it again, I promise, but how do I find a reliable source then? What should I do? Toby.Clarke20 (talk) 17:16, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
- I don’t think I’ll edit anything again, so don’t worry, I’ll stop from now on, so you don’t need to think about it anymore. Toby.Clarke20 (talk) 17:18, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
- Don't get discouraged, it just takes a little time to get good at it. —El Millo (talk) 17:23, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
- Okay, that’s fine. I Can Hopefully Get Good At It At Some Point, I Just Need Yo Know. But For Now, I Won’t Edit Anything, I Promise. Toby.Clarke20 (talk) 17:26, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
- I'll just let you be now, but I was only referring to the unsourced additions. You can still fix anything you see spelled wrong, rewrite anything you think is poorly written, etc. —El Millo (talk) 17:30, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
- Okay, but I just edited everything that I wrote that was unsourced, but if there’s anything written wrongly or poorly, I’ll edit it just to let you know! Toby.Clarke20 (talk) 17:33, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
- I Also Removed everything I wrote that was unsourced as well actually except for one that you edited for me. btw thanks for that because those are obviously unsourced and shouldn’t be on there. Toby.Clarke20 (talk) 17:49, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
- Also I’m very sorry for editing lots of things too on Wikipedia I promise I’ll never do that again. Toby.Clarke20 (talk) 17:53, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
- Also I’ll stop editing Wikipedia pages for now! Toby.Clarke20 (talk) 18:09, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
- Could I Use A Reliable Source Called Mirror That Mentions Hatty Jones Lost The Role Of Hermione To Emma Watson Or Should I Just Only Use Websites Like Variety And The Hollywood Reporter? Toby.Clarke20 (talk) 19:34, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
- Actually I Just Found A Website Called THERICHEST which mentions In 15 Actors That Were Almost Cast In Harry Potter that Hatty Jones Was Too Old To Play Hermione. So, If I Go Back And Edit On The Philosopher’s Stone, How Can I Paste THERICHEST Website 15 Actors That Were Almost Cast In Harry Potter Thing Article In The Thing With The Number [181] Which Talks About The Article Of Jones Losing The Hermione To Watson? Toby.Clarke20 (talk) 20:00, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
- Also, If I Edit The Page For The BFG (2016 Film), could I just write that Chris Columbus was attached to direct the film according to his Wikipedia list of unrealized projects, or should I get the Reliable Source that mentions about it? I tried using the reliable source of Chris Columbus’ involvement in the BFG, but it didn’t work. How can I make the reliable source work so it can proof it was actually real? According to their About Us page, they seem not to have an editorial team or policy, which would make it an unreliable source. See Wikipedia:WikiProject Film/Resources#List of potential resources, where reliable sources on film are listed. Of course there are more reliable sources than those listed there, but that's a start and those are the most reliable ones. —El Millo (talk) 20:28, 1 September 2023 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (film) into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 21:16, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
