Should you believe the subject you were writing about deserves an article, please use the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version that you can then get feedback on. Please also see Wikipedia's disambiguation guideline which indicates how to handle separate subjects with similar names. If you continue to hijack an existing article, you may be blocked from editing. If you have any questions, you are always welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 11:34, 3 October 2024 (UTC)
Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Please be mindful not to perform controversial edits while logged out, or your account risks being blocked from editing. Hello, I'm CoconutOctopus. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]Hello Times Daily! Your additions to Draft:Sameer Shah have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:
- Limited quotation: You may only copy or translate a small portion of a source. Any direct quotations must be enclosed in double quotation marks (") and properly cited using an inline citation. More information is available on the non-free content page. To learn how to cite a source, see Help:Referencing for beginners.
- Paraphrasing: Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information in your own words. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources as appropriate.
- Image use guidelines: In most scenarios, only freely licensed or public domain images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide may help with determining a file's eligibility.
- Copyrighted material donation: If you hold the copyright to the content you want to copy, or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license the text for publication here. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Copying and translation within Wikipedia: Wikipedia articles can be copied or translated, however they must have proper attribution in accordance with Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. For translation, see Help:Translation § License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked from editing. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. GreenLipstickLesbian (talk) 01:20, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
Mirrors
[edit] Thanks for contributing to the article Punial. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you. Sam Kuru (talk) 21:54, 19 October 2024 (UTC)
- Again, at Princely states of Pakistan and List of Pakistani flags you've added s mirror as a source ("dbpedia"). Aside from the obvious duplication of material from here, the site clearly notes "This content was extracted from Wikipedia and is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License" at the bottom of each page. Please slow down and carefully evaluate the sources you are using. Sam Kuru (talk) 22:15, 29 October 2024 (UTC)
Thank you for contributing to the article Punial. However, please do not use unreliable sources such as blogs, wikis, personal websites, and websites and publications with a poor reputation for checking the facts or with no editorial oversight. These sources may express views that are widely acknowledged as pushing a particular point-of-view, sometimes even extremist, being promotional in nature, or relying heavily on rumors and personal opinions. One of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. If you require further assistance, please look at Help:Menu/Editing Wikipedia, or ask at the Teahouse. Thank you. Sam Kuru (talk) 22:38, 19 October 2024 (UTC)

Prince Sameer Shah moved to draftspace

[edit]Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing hoaxes, such as Draft:Prince Sameer Shah, is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. Unconstructive editing
[edit]Examination of your editing history reveals that a signifcant amount of it is certainly fictitious, and much more of it is highly dubious, being uncited, cited to unreliable sources, or cited to spurious sources which don't actually support the statements to which the citations are attached. You are welcome to start making constructive and reiable contributions to the encyclopaedia if you would like to, but if you continue in the same way you will be bocked from editing by an administrator. Notice of noticeboard discussion
[edit]There is currently a discussion at WP:AN regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is Is there a way to get an ENWP account blocked for multiple account abuse without filing an RFCU?. Thank you. Dane|Geld 17:12, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
